The wind lock safety deviceThe patented wind lock safetydevice prevents the awning frombeing uplifted by surging winds,even if the awning has only beenopened by a third.

The topThe top protects the fabric andmechanism from bad weather. It can be opened easily to enablequick replacement of the fabricor motor. The cover caps give it amodern look.

Separate bottom sectionsensure optimum ventilation forthe fabric. Dirt and water run offeasily; the fabric keeps its goodlooks longer.

The sliding sectionThe sliding section in the innercasing protects the fabric fromchafing and wear.

The angle adjustment mechanismAn adjusting screw makes adjust-ment of the Cap’s angle verysimple for tilt angles between 5°and 40°. 10° to 20° deviation on Valance Plus from standardangles.

The rectangular support pipeIts purpose is to ensure greaterstability where the forces of thetilting arm members come in toplay.

The front rail bracketThe front rail bracket with mov-able bearing gives more play, ifrequired, e.g. when adjusting thetilt angle and when there areone-sided loads.

The front railThe front rail retracts with the fabricand so protects it. A flexible close-fitting edge ensures that the cas-sette closes properly and securely.

The tilting arm member with chainThis is the heart of the Cap. Highgrade materials and a lot oftension in the arm ensure securefunctioning and a long service life. Internal pull-springs completethe tilting arm concept. Even after many thousand movements,no appreciable wear and tear canbe detected. For this reason, weoffer a 10-year guarantee on theopen-link chain in the centre joint of the awning arm.

Coupling multi-section unitsThe jockey cover is used forcoupling/joining wide awnings(from 6.01 m). On a two-sectionunit it covers the gap in thefabric at the joint.Both sections are pushed togetherafter delivery.

The fabric fixingEven when the temperaturechanges the fabric fixing makessure the fabric remains taut.

The coupling section joins the twofront rails of the coupled unitand takes in the jockey cover fab-ric. This runs below the awningfabric and is easily accessible atany time.

The gutterRainwater can run along thegutter in the front rail to the sides.The water is led away from theawning through the drain hole inthe side caps.
