OPEN AND CLOSED LOOP CONTROL
SYSTEM
An open-loopcontrol system utilizes an actuating device tocontrol the process directly and obtain the desired response
without using feedback.
A closed-loop control system uses a measurement of the output
and feedback of this signal to compare it with the desired output.

biological systems.
Concepts and algorithms developed in the areas of adaptive control and
machine learning help intelligent controllers to adapt and learn.

Control
Adaptation and Learning: The ability to adapt in changing
conditions is necessary in an intelligent system.
Autonomy and Intelligence: Autonomy in setting and achievinggoals is an important characteristic of intelligent control
systems.
Structures and Hierarchies: In order to cope with complexity,
an intelligent system must have an appropriate functionalarchitecture or structure for efficient analysis and evaluation of
control strategies.

Fuzzy control systems
A fuzzy control system is a control system based on fuzzy logic which is a
mathematical system that analyzes analog input values in terms of logical
variables .
Take on continuous values between 0 and 1.
Fuzzy controllers are very simple conceptually.
