Te Spot is a Magazine or students rom all over the

world that are cooming to study in O Porto. Every 6

months, students rom different countries get a chance

to talk a little bit about a special place they have ound

here.

Tis way every new student can read about it, and be

knowing about a place that maybe they will never hadound, since Porto is a city with a lot o secret spots.

When you are abroad you need to get used to the

oods and beore that, you should find a way to eat

something i you cannot cook like me. Tere are

three urkish Restaurants in Porto. urkish ood

are definetly delicious and everybody loves it. I eel

really lucky to have Ees Kebab here because when

I enter the restaurant it is like home. Te owners,

a urkish couple, they are great, helpul and very

riendly. Not only or eating something, we go there

sometimes only or chatting with them and eel like

home. Teyre so nice people, they also love to speak

with us because they really miss urkey. So it is a

mutualist situation.M E H M E T - T U R K E Y

We ound this place randomly the second night

in Porto just walking down the streets. We were

pretty drunk and we saw this random portuguese

local guy called Joao sitting on a bench across the

street drinking glass o wine. We didnt know no one

here so we stopped by and asked i we can join him.

Later he invited us or a birthday party o his riend

we didnt know. It was so great night with random

strangers which were so nice! Te birthday cake was

so sweet!! I love the bar rom the first time I was there.

Like to chill out talking with riends or just waiting or

my laundry to be done because its really close to the

laundry-mat place I have to go. I highly recommend.R O M A N - S L O V A K I A

My local riend Sara took me there in August

and I ell in love to this place. Its a bar located intwo floors and with a beautiul garden. Te first

time I went there there was a barbeque and Djs

playing some music in the garden. Te stuff is

very riendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Weekly Karaoke and JamSession nights are

very un and enjoyable. Now Ive been taking

all o my riends there and weve had many

cool nights. I totally recommend it to everybody!

I ound this healthy store, because I wanted to buy a

handbag, so aer school I went around the city and

ound this mall. Aer buying the handbag, I went to

look the other stores and I ound this little healthy

store: it sells all kinds o ood with natural or integral

ingredients. Because I am interested in cooking and

specially healthy things, I got in love with this store.

Lovely little tabacco shop whose the entrance is as skinny as your cuteness,

Fortunately, the chance made my renting-flat your neighbour, offering me

the pleasure to discover you almost as deep as I could. Well, still as a casual

lover, I admit not knowing you enough or that you would change your

(a bit old) green dress or me. But, as a ull-o-charm lady, you know how to

addict young men. Even when I must grab my packet o cigarettes as ast as

possible, you find the way to make me wait...

I it is not the make-up ault, as a girl o caracter, you cant miss an

opportunity to fight among your daddy...You also know how to make me

jealous, avoriting the old-grandpa and their andante tickets, chilling out

with them, and delivering me an upset pokerace as I still flirt with you in

english...Waiting or the time Ill finally manage to domesticate you, I love

Te things I especially like to do in Porto is going or

a walk, thats why Im visiting local parks and gar-dens. One o those parks draw most o my attention,

Parque de S. Roque close to Estadio do Drago. Its

not very big, but its very pleasant. Teres a big pond

with lots o birds, so you can sit on a bench, relax and

eed the ducks. Teres little bridge across the pond.

I find the place very romantic. You can easily make a

picnic there, as you can find lots tables and benches.

Tis park is kind o special. What I like with it most

is maze! Its about hal a meter high with a statue in

the middle. You can actually go inside and get lost.

It is an amazing eeling to find yoursel aerwards.P A U L I N A - P O L A N D

Amazing bee, good quility and amazing cheap.

Fresh preshed drinks/cocktails very tasty and heathy

at the same time! Cozy place. ry Majeria. We ound

it trough a riend that knew this place beore and he

recommended it.

I like that place because or me its a relaxing and

meeting place. When Im tired or boring Im surethat there I can ound people whereby I can talk and

spend unny time. Te place is nothing special, but

its exactly what I need sometimes.

S I M O N E - I T A L Y

Bonaparte Pub is a really nice and cosy place. wo

floors with an old and vintage paintings, decors,

sculptures and other small things make you travel

a bit back in time, music makes the atmosphere just

perect to enjoy drinks while laughing with your

riends or flying somewhere deep in your thoughts.

Put on your to drink list - Raspberry beer. Enjoy!

My avourite place in and around Porto is the ocean at Matosinhos Beach.

Sitting on my surfoard in the breaker zone is the place I eel most

conortable. Not only the location, also the time is important to turn this

place into my avorite one. Especially in the early morning around dawn

when there are only a ew other surers out there its perect.

You do not need to mind about anything you dont want to think about just

beeing out there on your own, switch off and ocus on nothing else than the

next wave. Teres no better way to start a new day here in Porto...
