Positive speaking

Confession

For truly I say to you that

whoever shall say to this

mountain, Be moved and

be cast into the sea, and

shall not doubt in his heart,but shall believe that what

he said shall occur, he shall

have whatever he said.

(Mar 11:23)

So then faith comes by

hearing, and hearing by the

word of God. (Rom 10:17)

Death and life are in the

power of the tongue, and

those who love it shall eat

the fruit of it. (Pro 18:21)

Work

Do your own work well, and

then you will have

something to be proud of.

But don't compare yourself

with others. (Gal 6:4)

Employees, you must obey

your earthly employers.

Show them great respect

and be as loyal to them as

you are to Christ. Try to

please them at all times,

and not just when you

think they are watching.

You are slaves of Christ, so

with your whole heart you

must do what God wants

you to do. Gladly serve

your employer, as thoughthey were the Lord himself,






and not simply people. You

know that you will be

rewarded for any good

things you do, whether you

are slaves or free.

(Eph 6:5-8)

Your reward depends on

what you say and what you

do; you will get what you

deserve.

(Pro 12:14)

Work hard and do not be

lazy. Serve the Lord with a

heart full of devotion.

(Rom 12:11)

Favour

My child, remember my

teachings and instructions

and obey them completely.

They will help you live a

long and prosperous life.

Let love and loyalty always

show like a necklace, and

write them in your mind.

God and people will like you

and consider you a success.

(Pro 3:1-4)

Try hard to do right, and

you will win friends; go

looking for trouble, and you

will find it.

(Pro 11:27)

If your goals are good, you

will be respected, but if you

are looking for trouble, that

is what you will get.(Pro 11:27)






Family

And the Lord said to Noah,

Take all your family and go

into the ark, for you only in

this generation have I seento be upright.

But as for me and my

house, we will serve

Jehovah.

The just walks in his

integrity; his sons are

blessed after him.

Train up a child in the way

he should go; and when he

Pray

Evening and morning, and

at noon, I will pray and cry

aloud; and He shall hear

Holy Spirit,

Speech

It's stupid to say bad things

about your neighbors. If

you are sensible, you will

keep quiet.

(Pro 11:12)

You will say the wrong

thing if you talk too much--

so be sensible and watch

what you say.

(Pro 10:19)

The more you talk, the

more likely you are to sin.

If you are wise, you will

keep quiet.

(Pro 10:19)

I said, "I will be careful

about what I do and will

not let my tongue make me

sin; I will not say anything

while evil people are near."

I kept quiet, not saying a

word, not even about

anything good!

(Psa 39:1-2)

But now you must stop

doing such things. You

must quit being angry,

hateful, and evil. You must

no longer say insulting or

cruel things about others.

And stop lying to each

other. You have given up

your old way of life with its

habits. Each of you is now a

new person. You are

becoming more and more






He must not be a new

Christian, or he might

become arrogant like the

devil and be condemned.

People who are not

Christians must speak well

of him, or he might becomethe victim of disgraceful

insults that the devil sets as

traps for him. Leaders must

also be of good character.

They must not be two-

faced or addicted to

alcohol. They must not use

shameful ways to make

money. They must have

clear consciences about

possessing the mystery of

the Christian faith. First, a

person must be evaluated.

Then, if he has a good

reputation, he may become

a leader.

(1Ti 3:1-10)

Run from temptations that

capture young people.

Always do the right thing.

Be faithful, loving, and easy

to get along with. Worship

with people whose hearts

are pure. Stay away from

stupid and senseless

arguments. These only lead

to trouble, and God's

servants must not be

troublemakers. They must

be kind to everyone, and

they must be good teachers

and very patient. Be

humble when you correct

people who oppose you.Maybe God will lead them






to turn to him and learn the

truth.

(2Ti 2:22-25)

Be angry, and do not sin;

ponder in your own hearts

on your beds, and be silent.Selah Offer right sacrifices,

and put your trust in the

LORD.

(Psa 4:4-5)

Healed

He Himself bore our sins in

His own body on the tree,

that dying to sins, we might

live to righteousness; by

whose stripes you were

healed.

(1Pe 2:24)

And rising up from the

synagogue, He entered into

Simon's house. And

Simon's wife's mother was

being seized with a great

fever. And they asked Him

for her. And standing over

her, He rebuked the fever.

And it left her. And

immediately she arose and

served them.

(Luk 4:38-39)

Sharp words cut like a

sword, but words of

wisdom heal.

(Pro 12:18)

Money Matters and daily

needs






But my God shall supply all

your need according to His

riches in glory by Christ

Jesus.

(Php 4:19)

For Jehovah God is a sunand shield; Jehovah will

give grace and glory; no

good thing will He withhold

from those who walk

uprightly.

(Psa 84:11)

Owe no one anything,

except to love one another;

for he who loves another

has fulfilled the Law.

(Rom 13:8)

And Jehovah shall prosper

you in goods, in the fruit of

your body, and in the fruit

of your cattle, and in the

fruit of your ground, in the

land which Jehovah swore

to your fathers to give you.

(Deu 28:11)

But you shall remember

Jehovah your God, for it is

He who gives you power to

get wealth, so that He may

confirm His covenant which

He has sworn to your

fathers, as it is today.

(Deu 8:18)

Let them shout for joy, and

be glad, that favor my

righteous cause: Yea, let

them say continually,Jehovah be magnified, Who






hath pleasure in the

prosperity of his servant.

(Psa 35:27)

Study the Bible

This book of the Law shallnot depart out of your

mouth, but you shall

meditate on it by day and

by night, so that you may

be careful to do according

to all that is written in it.

For then you shall make

your way prosperous, and

then you shall act wisely.

(Jos 1:8)

With what shall a young

man cleanse his way? By

taking heed according to

Your Word. With all my

heart I have sought You;

do not let me wander from

Your Commandments. I

have hidden Your Word in

my heart, so that I might

not sin against You.

(Psa 119:9-11)

But his delight is only in the

Law of Jehovah; and in His

Law he meditates day and

night.

(Psa 1:2)

Your Word is a lamp to my

feet, and a light to my

path.

(Psa 119:105)

Protection






For You; O Jehovah, will

bless the righteous; with

favor You will surround him

as with a shield.

(Psa 5:12)

A thousand shall fall at yourside, and ten thousand at

your right hand; it shall not

come near you.

(Psa 91:7)

You shall tread on the lion

and adder; the young lion

and the jackal You shall

trample underfoot.

(Psa 91:13)

No evil shall befall You, nor

shall any plague come near

Your dwelling.

(Psa 91:10)

No one will be able to stand

up to you. The LORD will

make everyone terrified of

you, just as he promised.

Every weapon formed

against you shall not

prosper, and every tongue

that shall rise against you

in judgment, you shall

condemn. This is the

inheritance of the servants

of Jehovah, and their

righteousness is from Me,

says Jehovah.

And (Put your own namehere), a son of a mighty






man, great in deeds; he

killed two lionlike men of

Moab. And he went down

and killed a lion in the

middle of a pit in a day of

snow. And he killed an

Egyptian, a man of form;and a spear was in the

Egyptian's hand; and he

went down to him with a

staff and tore away the

spear from the Egyptian's

hand, and killed him with

his own spear.

Ministry

And answering, Simon

Peter said, You are the

Christ, the Son of the living

God. And answering, Jesus

said to him, Blessed are

you, Simon, son of Jonah,

for flesh and blood did not

reveal it to you, but My

Father in Heaven. And I

also say to you that you are

Peter, and on this rock I

will build My assembly, and

the gates of Hades will not

prevail against her.

(Mat 16:16-18)

And Jesus went around all

Galilee teaching in their

synagogues and

proclaiming the gospel of

the kingdom, and healing

every disease and every

sickness among the people.

And the report of Him wentout into all Syria. And they






brought to Him all the ones

being badly ill , suffering

various diseases and

torments, also those being

demon-possessed, and

those being moonstruck,

and paralytics; and Hehealed them. And many

crowds followed Him from

Galilee and Decapolis, and

Jerusalem, and Judea, and

beyond the Jordan.

(Mat 4:23-25)

And He said to them, Going

into all the world, preach

the gospel to all the

creation. The one believing

and being baptized will be

saved. And the one not

believing will be

condemned. And

miraculous signs will follow

to those believing these

things: they will cast out

demons in My name; they

will speak new languages;

they will take up snakes;

and if they drink anything

deadly, it will in no way

hurt them; they will lay

hands on the sick, and they

will be well. Then indeed,

after speaking to them, the

Lord was taken up into

Heaven, and sat off the

right of God. And going out,

they preached everywhere,

the Lord working with them

and confirming the Word

through the miraculous

signs following after. Amen.(Mar 16:15-20)






I can do all things through

Christ who strengthens me.

(Php 4:13)

And Jesus came and spoke

to them, saying, "Allauthority in heaven and on

earth has been given to Me.

Go therefore and make

disciples of all the nations,

baptizing them in the name

of the Father and of the

Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe

everything that I have

commanded you; and lo, I

am with you always, even

to the end of the age."

Amen.

(Mat 28:18-20)

Pure

You also say, "Food is

meant for our bodies, and

our bodies are meant for

food." But I tell you that

God will destroy them both.

We are not supposed to do

indecent things with our

bodies. We are to use them

for the Lord who is in

charge of our bodies. God

will raise us from death by

the same power that he

used when he raised our

Lord to life. Don't you know

that your bodies are part of

the body of Christ? Is it

right for me to join part of

the body of Christ to aprostitute? No, it isn't!






Don't you know that a man

who does that becomes

part of her body? The

Scriptures say, "The two of

them will be like one

person." But anyone who is

joined to the Lord is one inspirit with him. Don't be

immoral in matters of sex.

That is a sin against your

own body in a way that no

other sin is. You surely

know that your body is a

temple where the Holy

Spirit lives. The Spirit is in

you and is a gift from God.

You are no longer your

own. God paid a great price

for you. So use your body

to honor God.

(1Co 6:13-20)

For this is the will of God,

your sanctification, for you

to abstain from fornication,

each one of you to know

how to possess his vessel in

sanctification and honor

(not in the passion of lust,

even as the nations who do

not know God), not to go

beyond and defraud his

brother in this matter

(because the Lord is the

avenger concerning all

these, as we also have

forewarned you and

testified). For God has not

called us to uncleanness,

but in sanctification.

(1Th 4:3-7)






Dear friends, God is good.

So I beg you to offer your

bodies to him as a living

sacrifice, pure and pleasing.

That's the most sensible

way to serve God. Don't be

like the people of thisworld, but let God change

the way you think. Then

you will know how to do

everything that is good and

pleasing to him.

(Rom 12:1-2)

I appeal to you, my friends,

as strangers and refugees

in this world! Do not give in

to bodily passions, which

are always at war against

the soul.

(1Pe 2:11)

Temptations

Every test that you have

experienced is the kind that

normally comes to people.

But God keeps his promise,

and he will not allow you to

be tested beyond your

power to remain firm; at

the time you are put to the

test, he will give you the

strength to endure it, and

so provide you with a way

out.

(1Co 10:13)

steps of faith. Since Godcan only be pleased by faithwe must put these steps offaith into practice daily. Sofrom now on each lessonwe will do a recap of whatfaith is and how it works

What is faith?

Heb 11:1 KJV Now faith isthe substance of things

hoped for, the evidence ofthings not seen.

Heb 11:6 MKJV But withoutfaith it is impossible to pleaseHim, for he who comes to Godmust believe that He is andthat He is a rewarder of thosewho diligently seek Him.

Faith definition = Believing

and doing the word of God

The five steps of faith

1. Hear it - Rom 10:17EMTV So then faithcomes by hearing, andhearing by the word ofGod.

2. Say it - 2Co 4:13 EMTV

And since we have thesame spirit of faith,






according to that whichis written, "I believed,and therefore I spoke,"we also believe,therefore we also speak,

3. Do it - Jas 2:17 EMTVThus also that faith, if it

does not have works, isdead, being by itself

4. Receive it - Heb 11:6MKJV But without faithit is impossible to pleaseHim, for he who comesto God must believe thatHe is and that He is arewarder of those whodiligently seek Him.

5. Tell it - Gal 5:6 GNB Forwhen we are in unionwith Christ Jesus, neither

circumcision nor the lackof it makes any differenceat all; what matters isfaith that works throughlove.

Mat 9:26-31 MKJV And thisreport went out into all that

land. (27) And when Jesuspassed on from there, twoblind ones followed Him,crying and saying, Son of

David, have mercy on us.(28) And when He hadcome into the house, theblind men came to Him. And

Jesus said to them, Do you

believe that I am able to dothis? They said to Him, Yes,Lord. (29) Then He touchedtheir eyes, saying, According

to your faith let it be to you.(30) And their eyes wereopened. And Jesus strictlycharged them, saying, See,

From these verses we canbrake down the last words

We can clearly see that Godlinks wisdom directly toleading people to Jesus.You cannot step into truesuccess as a Christianunless you start makingsouls your highest priority.

Mar 1:17-18 GW Jesus said

to them, "Come, follow me! I

From these verses we cansee that a follower of Jesusis someone that will learnhow to lead someone toJesus.






Eze 3:17-19 GW "Son of

man, I have made you awatchman over the people ofIsrael. Listen to what I say,and warn them for me. (18)Suppose I tell you that

wicked people will surely die,

but you don't warn them orspeak out so that they canchange their wicked ways in

It is clear that we have apurpose to tell people aboutJesus and the Gospel orGood News. In the week 13we are going to look indetail what the Gospel orGood News is. For now wemust understand two thingsvery clearly. God has calledus to tell people about Him

and that it is not ourresponsibility to force






word of God. Let’s look atsome verse that confirmsthis.

Mat 7:24-29 MKJV

Therefore whoever hearsthese sayings of Mine, and

does them, I will liken him toa wise man who built his

house on a rock. (25) Andthe rain came down, and thefloods came, and the windsblew and beat on that house.And it did not fall, for it was

founded on a rock. (26)And everyone who hearsthese sayings of Mine anddoes not do them shall be

compared to a foolish manwho built his house on thesand. (27) And the raincame down, and the floods

Just being a Christian andfollowing Jesus is not goingto help you when satanattack you. The only thingthat will help you standstrong in the attack is yourknowledge and revelationof God’s word and youobedience to it. When welead someone to Jesus wemust help the person tobuild on the rock of Jesus.

1Co 11:2 MKJV But I praise

you, brothers, that you

Mat 5:14-19 MKJV You arethe light of the world. A citythat is set on a hill cannot be

hidden. (15) Nor do men

light a lamp and put it underthe grain-measure, but on alampstand. And it gives light

to all who are in the house.(16) Let your light so shinebefore men that they maysee your good works and

glorify your Father who is inHeaven. (17) Do not thinkthat I have come to destroythe Law or the Prophets. I

We can clearly see that weare called to be the light ofthis world. We must live a

lifestyle of faith. That is the “shall do” in Mat 5:19. Butthen it goes on and says wemust teach people. Oncewe start to let our light

shine people will glorifyGod. When they exceptJesus as their Lord they arenow born again (John 3).Babies need lots of milk as

they grow up.






1Co 3:1-2a CEV My friends,

faith in Christ is concerned.

We can clearly see that wehave a responsibility toteach people the word ofGod

Let’s look at the ministry ofJesus

because of the press,because he was little instature. (4) And he ran infront and climbed up into a

From these verses we canclearly see that Jesus cameto seek and save the lost.

Luk 5:27-31 MKJV And after

these things He went outand saw a tax-collector






named Levi, sitting at the

tax-office. And He said tohim, Follow Me. (28) Andleaving all, he rose up andfollowed Him. (29) And Levimade a great feast in his

own house for Him. And

there was a great companyof tax-collectors and ofothers who were reclining

you eat and drink with tax-collectors and sinners? (31)And Jesus answered and saidto them, Those who are

sound do not need aphysician, but those who aresick.

Jesus compared His own

ministry to that of a doctorcoming for sick people

Mat 1:21 MKJV And she

shall bear a son, and you

shall call His name JESUS:for He shall save His peoplefrom their sins.

From all these verses we canclearly see that Jesus is hereto help us and not to

condemn. He was send byGod to planet earth so thatwe can be saved from oursins and everlasting death in

hell.

So how did God bring thissalvation to pass through HisSon Jesus Christ.

We have already studied inChristian Basic undersalvation that when Adam

sinned, sin and deathentered the world.






Rom 6:23 MKJV For the

wages of sin is death, butthe gift of God is eternal lifethrough Jesus Christ ourLord.

When Adam sinned, death

came into the word. Butthen God send Jesus to dieon the cross in our place.

Gen 3:10-15 MKJV And hesaid, I heard Your voice inthe garden, and I was afraid,

because I am naked, and Ihid myself. (11) And Hesaid, Who told you that youwere naked? Have you eaten

of the tree which Icommanded you that youshould not eat? (12) Andthe man said, The womanwhom You gave to be with

me, she gave me of the tree,and I ate. (13) AndJehovah God said to thewoman, What is this you

have done? And the woman

said, The serpent deceivedme, and I ate. (14) AndJehovah God said to the

The first thing that Jesusever said to devil after hetempted Adam was that

Jesus (Seed) will bruise yourhead.






1Jn 3:8 GW The person who

lives a sinful life belongs tothe devil, because the devilhas been committing sinsince the beginning. Thereason that the Son of God

appeared was to destroy

what the devil does.

The main reason that Jesus

came to earth was todestroy what the devil wasbusy doing.

Col 2:13-15 GW You wereonce dead because of yourfailures and youruncircumcised corrupt

nature. But God made youalive with Christ when heforgave all our failures. (14)He did this by erasing thecharges that were brought

against us by the writtenlaws God had established.He took the charges away bynailing them to the cross.

(15) He stripped the rulers

and authorities (satan andhis demons) of their powerand made a public spectacle

of them as he celebrated hisvictory in Christ.

When Jesus died on the

cross our sins was completeforgiven and forgotten. ButJesus also stripped satanand his demons of all their

power.

If they had known about it,they would not have nailedthe glorious Lord to a cross.

We can clearly see thatsatan did not know what hewas doing when he crucified






Jesus. When he crucified

Jesus – Jesus died for oursins and stripped satan’ spowers.

Joh 10:9-11 MKJV I am the

door. If anyone enters in by

Me, he shall be saved andshall go in and out and findpasture. (10) The thief

does not come except tosteal and to kill and todestroy. I have come so thatthey might have life, and

that they might have it moreabundantly. (11) I am theGood Shepherd. The GoodShepherd lays down His life

for the sheep.

Satan’s power allowed himto steal, kill and destroy.Jesus died and stripped

these powers from satan.Now we all are stilledattacked by satan on a dayto day basis. But we have

the tools to fight him.

Isa 54:14-17 GW You willbe established in

righteousness. You will befar from oppression, so youwill not be afraid. You will befar from destruction, so it

won't come near you. (15)"If anyone attacks you, it willnot be my doing. Whoeverattacks you will be defeated

by you. (16) I've createdblacksmiths to fan the coalsinto flames and to produceuseful weapons. I've alsocreated destroyers to bring

destruction. (17) Noweapon that has been madeto be used against you willsucceed. You will have an

answer for anyone whoaccuses you. This is theinheritance of the LORD'S

From this we can clearly seethat no weapon that satan

forms again us will prosper

as long as we life by faith.

Luk 4:14-21 CEV Jesus

returned to Galilee with thepower of the Spirit. Newsabout him spreadeverywhere. (15) He

taught in the Jewish meetingplaces, and everyone praisedhim. (16) Jesus went backto Nazareth, where he had

been brought up, and asusual he went to themeeting place on theSabbath. When he stood upto read from the Scriptures,

(17) he was given the bookof Isaiah the prophet. Heopened it and read, (18)"The Lord's Spirit has come

to me, because he has

chosen me to tell the goodnews to the poor. The Lordhas sent me to announce

freedom for prisoners, togive sight to the blind, tofree everyone who suffers,(19) and to say, 'This is the

year the Lord has chosen.' "(20) Jesus closed the book,then handed it back to theman in charge and sat down.

Everyone in the meetingplace looked straight atJesus. (21) Then Jesus saidto them, "What you have

From these verses we seethat if we are born again and

excepted Jesus as our Lordthere are some promisesthat God promises to us.There is peace, healing and

riches. But why are so many

Christians still struggling.

Jesus also has a ministry as

the Word

Joh 1:1-14 ISV In thebeginning, the Wordexisted. The Word was withGod, and the Word wasGod. (2) He existed in thebeginning with God. (3)

Through him all things weremade, and apart from himnothing was made that hasbeen made. (4) In himwas life, and that lifebrought light to humanity.(5) And the light shines onin the darkness, and thedarkness has never put itout. (6) There was a man

sent from God, whose






name was John. (7) Hecame as a witness to testifyabout the light, so that allmight believe through him.(8) He was not the light,but he came to testifyabout the light. (9) This

was the true light thatenlightens every person byhis coming into the world.(10) He was in the world,and the world was madethrough him. Yet the worlddid not recognize him. (11)He came to his owncreation, yet his ownpeople did not receive him.

(12) However, to all whoreceived him, to thosebelieving in his name, hegave authority to becomeGod's children, (13) whowere born, not merely in aphysical sense, or from afleshly impulse, or fromman's desire, but of God.(14) The Word became

From these verses we canclearly see that JesusHimself is the word that we

From these verses we cansee that in the name of theLord is safety, provision,protection and the blessing.There are many names ofthe Lord if you study outthe Greek and Hebrew. InRevelations one of thenames of the Lord is the

The Word of God. This isthe ultimate name of Jesus.So if Jesus is the Word andHis name is the Word itmakes sense that I shouldstudy the bible.

It’s important when wespeak and teach peoplewhat the Gospel is that wemust know how to getthem from unsaved tosave. If you tell someonehow awesome Jesus is and

they want to give theirheart to Jesus, what mustthey do and how do youhelp them in that process.In this message we aregoing to look at that.

Rom 5:10-21 CEV Evenwhen we were God'senemies, he made peace

with us, because his Sondied for us. Yet somethingeven greater thanfriendship is ours. Now thatwe are at peace with God,we will be saved by hisSon's life. (11) And inaddition to everything else,we are happy because Godsent our Lord Jesus Christto make peace with us.(12) Adam sinned, and






that sin brought death intothe world. Now everyonehas sinned, and soeveryone must die. (13)Sin was in the world beforethe Law came. But norecord of sin was kept,

came later. (15) But thegift that God was kindenough to give was verydifferent from Adam's sin.That one sin brought deathto many others. Yet in aneven greater way, JesusChrist alone brought God'sgift of kindness to manypeople. (16) There is a lot

of difference betweenAdam's sin and God's gift.That one sin led topunishment. But God's giftmade it possible for us tobe acceptable to him, eventhough we have sinnedmany times. (17) Deathruled like a king becauseAdam had sinned. But that

cannot compare with whatJesus Christ has done. Godhas been so kind to us, andhe has accepted us becauseof Jesus. And so we will liveand rule like kings. (18)Everyone was going to bepunished because Adamsinned. But because of thegood thing that Christ hasdone, God accepts us andgives us the gift of life.






(19) Adam disobeyed Godand caused many others tobe sinners. But Jesusobeyed him and will makemany people acceptable toGod. (20) The Law came,so that the full power of sin

could be seen. Yet wheresin was powerful, God'skindness was even morepowerful. (21) Sin ruledby means of death. ButGod's kindness now rules,and God has accepted usbecause of Jesus Christ ourLord. This means that wewill have eternal life.

From these verses we cansee that when Adam sinnedin Genesis 1-3 that sinnedentered into the world andthat we all where born intoa sinful state. As humanswe can all admit that atonce stage and many othermoments we have sinned

and we will sin in the futureas well.So if we will sin in thefuture and have sinned inthe past how can we thenbe saved? Well from theabove verses we see thatthe word “gift” appearsmany times. Salvation is afree gift from God though

His Son Jesus Christ.

Joh 3:16 MKJV For God soloved the world that Hegave His only-begottenSon, that whoever believesin Him should not perishbut have everlasting life.

Rom 5:8 GW Christ diedfor us while we were still






sinners. This demonstratesGod's love for us.

From these verses we canclearly see that Jesus diedfor us while we weresinners and our believe in

Jesus secure our eternalsalvation

Isa 64:6 ESV We have allbecome like one who isunclean, and all ourrighteous deeds are like apolluted garment. We allfade like a leaf, and ouriniquities, like the wind,

take us away.

Our good works can neverever get us into heaven andin right standing with God.It’s like saying that a serialkillers must not get jailtime because he helped oldpeople crossing the street.

Rom 10:9-13 GNB If youconfess that Jesus is Lordand believe that God raisedhim from death, you will besaved. (10) For it is byour faith that we are putright with God; it is by ourconfession that we aresaved. (11) The scripturesays, "Whoever believes in

him will not bedisappointed." (12) Thisincludes everyone, becausethere is no differencebetween Jews and Gentiles;God is the same Lord of alland richly blesses all whocall to him. (13) As thescripture says, "Everyonewho calls out to the Lordfor help will be saved."






From these verses we cansee that if we accept Jesusas our Lord and confess itwith our mouths we will besaved. The first step toreceiving any gift is simplyto believe that the gift is

yours. If someone givesyou a brand new motor caryou must believe that it’syours. Once you believe ityou can take ownership ofit. It’s the same withsalvation. Believing in Jesusand confessing Him as Lordis taking ownership of thesalvation that’s a free gift.

Col 2:13-15 CEV You weredead, because you weresinful and were not God'speople. But God let Christmake you alive, when heforgave all our sins. (14)God wiped out the chargesthat were against us fordisobeying the Law of

Moses. He took them awayand nailed them to thecross. (15) There Christdefeated all powers andforces. He let the wholeworld see them being ledaway as prisoners when hecelebrated his victory.

Isa 44:22 Darby I have

blotted out, as a thickcloud, thy transgressions,and, as a cloud, thy sins:return unto me; for I haveredeemed thee.

When Jesus died in thecross He took away all oursin and nailed it unto thecross. We can clearly seefrom these verses that Godwants to have an intimate






relationship with us. He hasforgiven us from all oursins.

1Jn 1:9 MKJV If weconfess our sins, He isfaithful and just to forgive

us our sins, and to cleanseus from allunrighteousness.

Jesus also tells us that if wesin in the future He willeven forgive us for that sinif we confess it. So sin isnot what keeps us out ofheaven. The only thing that

will keep someone out ofheaven is if he rejects thefree gift that God has givenus for salvation.

1Pe 1:18-23 BBE Beingconscious that you havebeen made free from thatfoolish way of life whichwas your heritage from

your fathers, not through apayment of things likesilver or gold which cometo destruction, (19) Butthrough holy blood, likethat of a clean andunmarked lamb, even theblood of Christ: (20) Whowas marked out by Godbefore the making of the

world, but was caused tobe seen in these last timesfor you, (21) Who throughhim have faith in God whotook him up again from thedead into glory; so thatyour faith and hope mightbe in God. (22) And asyou have made your soulsclean, being ruled by whatis true, and loving oneanother without deceit, see






that your love is warm andfrom the heart: (23)Because you have had anew birth, not from theseed of man, but frometernal seed, through theword of a living and

unchanging God.

The moment that Adam felland sin in Genesis 1 – 3 weall entered into a sinfulstate. We all have sinned atone time and will do so inthe future. Our sins meantthat we were destined forhell. Through the old

testament God’s people hadto kill animals “so that theywon’t go to hell.” But thisnever lasted and they hadto kill animals over andover. But then Jesus diedand His blood is perfect. Hissacrifice is perfect and ifyou only except Him asyour Lord and confess it

with your mouth His bloodthat was shed is all youneed for salvation.

Joh 17:3 MKJV And this islife eternal, that they mightknow You, the only trueGod, and Jesus Christwhom You have sent.

Once we confess Jesus asour Lord we must grow intothe eternal life. And theonly way to do that is toknow Jesus. We will go toheaven if we except thefree gift that God gives usbut there is so much moreto salvation then just goingto heaven






Joh 1:1-2 MKJV In thebeginning was the Word,and the Word was withGod, and the Word wasGod. (2) He was in thebeginning with God.

From John 1 we know thatJesus is the word madeflesh. If you want to knowJesus you must know Hisword. The more you studyHis word the more you stepinto eternal life and grow asa Christian.

Rom 6:22-23 MKJV But

now, being made free fromsin, and having becomeslaves to God, you haveyour fruit to holiness, andthe end everlasting life.(23) For the wages of sinis death, but the gift of Godis eternal life through JesusChrist our Lord.

As we take hold of God’sword and mediate in it dayand night we will producefruits of holiness and livingthe life that God want us tolife. You don’t have to workat the fruit of holiness. Youonly have to grow byspending time with Godevery day.

Rom 4:5 MKJV But to himnot working, but believingon Him justifying theungodly, his faith iscounted for righteousness.

Let’s have a look at thedifference between holinessand righteousness






1Pe 1:16 MKJV because itis written, "Be holy, for Iam holy."

Holiness is a process andrighteousness is somethingwe become the moment we

except Jesus as Lord.Righteousness literallymeans to be in rightstanding with God. Holinessis a fruit of you intimacywith God and His word

The way that I alwaysexplain it is as follows.Imagine and old and

beaten up car. That’s you.But then one day you gaveyour life to Jesus. And inthat moment that old andbeaten up car got changedinto the smartest and mostexpensive car that you canthink of. That is therighteousness of God. It’ssomething you become as a

Christian and will alwaysbe. Sin is like mud on thecar. The more you sin thedirtier this smart andexpensive car gets. If youkeep putting more andmore mud unto the car youwill eventually only see thatshape of the car but notreally the car. The car is

still the same but now fullof mud. Holiness is a fruitof spending time with God.As you spend more andmore time with God youwill end up sinning less andless and less. Your car willnot get dirty that quickly.And if you do sin and getdirt on your car just confessit and God will forgive youand wash your car. So the






car never changes. Yourrighteousness neverchanges. But holiness canchanges and it depends onyour intimacy with God.

Joh 10:27-30 MKJV My

sheep hear My voice, and Iknow them, and they followMe. (28) And I give tothem eternal life, and theyshall never ever perish, andnot anyone shall pluckthem out of My hand. (29)My Father who gave themto me is greater than all,and no one is able to pluck

them out of My Father'shand. (30) I and theFather are one!

From these verses we canclearly see that as long aswe keep listening to God’svoices, that is the Bible, noone can pluck us fromGod’s hand. As long as we

develop a relationship withGod we cannot back slide.

In this Paul says that if wehave gone through anyattach of the satan and camethrough victorious, we can

help anyone that is in anykind of trouble. As youapplied faith to get throughthe problem you can teach

someone how to get throughtheir problem. That is whythe 6 steps of faith is soimportant and why we needto live by faith. The word of

God is the answer to allproblems

Act 14:7-10 MKJV And there

they were preaching the

gospel. (8) And a certainman was sitting in Lystra,without strength in the feet,

being lame from hismother's womb, who neverhad walked. (9) This oneheard Paul speaking; and

Paul, looking intently at him,and seeing that he had faithto be healed, (10) said witha loud voice, Stand up on

your feet! And he leaped andwalked.

When we speak to someoneabout their problem and say

to them that the bible hasthe answer and you quotethe bible verse, faith rises inthe person. Since faith

comes by hearing andhearing by the word of God(Romans 10:17).






Act 3:1-6 MKJV And on thesame day Peter and Johnwent up into the temple atthe hour of prayer, the ninthhour. (2) And a certain

man, who was lame from his

mother's womb, was beingcarried. And they laid himdaily at that temple gate

From this we can clearly seethat the easiest way to lead

someone to Jesus is simplyto look for where a person isstruggling and find theverses that deal with it and

teach them about thegospel. And if you live alifestyle of faith and havespent time with God andreading your bible, it will be

A practical definition of the

blessing:

Let’s look at the blessing inaction.

Jesus was teaching andwhen He taught people, faith

came, and then miraclesstarted to happen.

So do we have the same

power that Jesus had to healpeople and perform miraclesin Jesus name?

works than these he shalldo, because I go to MyFather.

Jesus says as we develop

our faith we will be able todo what He did and greater

Mar 16:16-20 MKJV He whobelieves and is baptized willbe saved, but he who doesnot believe will be

condemned. (17) Andmiraculous signs will followto those believing thesethings: in My name they will

cast out demons; they willspeak new tongues; (18)they will take up serpents;and if they drink any deadlything, it will not hurt them.

They will lay hands on thesick, and they will be well.(19) Then indeed, afterspeaking to them, the Lord

was taken up into Heaven,and sat on the right hand ofGod. (20) And going out,






they proclaimed everywhere,

the Lord working with themand confirming the Word bymiraculous signs following.Amen.

As we proclaim the word of

God, God will confirm Hisword by signs, wonders andmiracles. When we teach

someone on healing,healings will manifest. Ourrole is to be available as avessel to be used by God.

So let’s look in the books ofActs how people allowed Godto use them for miracles and

healings. Let’s look at sevenexamples

One

Act 3:2-9 MKJV And acertain man, who was lamefrom his mother's womb,was being carried. And they

laid him daily at that temple

gate which is calledBeautiful, to ask alms fromthose who entered into the

temple. (3) Seeing Peterand John about to go intothe temple, he asked toreceive alms. (4) And

fastening his eyes on him,Peter with John said, Lookon us! (5) And he paidheed to them, expecting to

receive something fromthem. (6) But Peter said,Silver and gold have I none,but what I have I give you.In the name of Jesus Christ

of Nazareth, rise up andwalk! (7) And taking himby the right hand, he liftedhim up. And immediately his

feet and ankle-bonesreceived strength. (8) Andleaping up, he stood and






walked and entered with

them into the temple,walking and leaping andpraising God. (9) And allthe people saw him walkingand praising God.

Act 5:15-16 MKJV So as to

carry out the sick into thestreets and place them oncots and mattresses, so thatat least the shadow of Peter

passing by mightovershadow some of them.(16) And also a multitudecame from the cities around

Jerusalem, bringing sickones, and those beingtormented by uncleanspirits, who were all healed.

Samaria and proclaimed

Act 28:1-10 CEV When wecame ashore, we learned

that the island was calledMalta. (2) The local peoplewere very friendly, and they






welcomed us by building a

fire, because it was rainyand cold. (3) After Paul hadgathered some wood andhad put it on the fire, theheat caused a snake to crawl

out, and it bit him on the

hand. (4) When the localpeople saw the snakehanging from Paul's hand,

they said to each other,"This man must be amurderer! He didn't drown inthe sea, but the goddess of

justice will kill him anyway."(5) Paul shook the snake offinto the fire and wasn'tharmed. (6) The people

kept thinking that Paul wouldeither swell up or suddenlydrop dead. They watchedhim for a long time, andwhen nothing happened to

him, they changed theirminds and said, "This man isa god." (7) The governor ofthe island was named

Publius, and he owned some

of the land around there.Publius was very friendly andwelcomed us into his home

for three days. (8) Hisfather was in bed, sick withfever and stomach trouble,and Paul went to visit him.

Paul healed the man bypraying and placing hishands on him. (9) After thishappened, everyone on the

island brought their sickpeople to Paul, and theywere all healed. (10) Thepeople were very respectfulto us, and when we sailed,

they gave us everything weneeded.

Act 20:9-13 GW A youngman named Eutychus was






sitting in a window. As Paul

was talking on and on,Eutychus was graduallyfalling asleep. Finally,overcome by sleep, he fellfrom the third story and was

dead when they picked him

up. (10) Paul went to him,took him into his arms, andsaid, "Don't worry! He's

alive!" (11) Then Eutychuswent upstairs again, brokethe bread, and ate. Paultalked with the people for a

long time, until sunrise, andthen left. (12) The peopletook the boy home. Theywere greatly relieved that he

was alive. (13) We wentahead to the ship and sailedfor the city of Assos. AtAssos, we were going to pickup Paul. He had made these

arrangements, since he hadplanned to walk overland toAssos.

Six

Act 9:36-42 MKJV And inJoppa was a certain disciple

named Tabitha (whichtranslated is called Dorcas).She was full of good worksand kind deeds which she

did. (37) And it happenedin those days, becomingsick, she died. And washingher, they laid her in an

upper room. (38) And,because Lydda was nearJoppa, hearing that Peter isin it, the disciples sent twomen to him, begging him not

to delay to come to them.(39) And rising up, Peterwent with them. When hehad come, they brought him

into the upper room. And allthe widows stood besidehim, weeping and showing






the coats and garments

which Dorcas made whileshe was with them. (40)And putting them all out,Peter knelt down andprayed. And turning to the

body he said, Tabitha, arise!

And she opened her eyes.And when she saw Peter,she sat up. (41) And he

gave her his hand and liftedher up. And when he hadcalled the saints and widows,he presented her alive. (42)

And it was knownthroughout all Joppa. Andmany believed in the Lord.

Seven

Act 19:10-12 GW Thiscontinued for two years sothat all the Jews and Greeks

who lived in the province ofAsia heard the word of theLord. (11) God workedunusual miracles through

Paul. (12) People would

take handkerchiefs andaprons that had touchedPaul's skin to those who

were sick. Their sicknesseswould be cured, and evilspirits would leave them.

From these verses it is veryclear that we have authority

from Jesus to ministerhealing to people and thatJesus is with us. We are notdoing this on our own. Jesus

is with all of us and He willnever leave us.

Week 17 (Session 7) – Peter leading 3000 peopleto Jesus

Act 2:1-47 GW WhenPentecost, the fiftieth day

after Passover, came, all thebelievers were together inone place. (2) Suddenly, asound like a violently

blowing wind came from thesky and filled the wholehouse where they werestaying. (3) Tongues that

looked like fire appeared tothem. The tongues arrangedthemselves so that one cameto rest on each believer. (4)All the believers were filled

with the Holy Spirit andbegan to speak in otherlanguages as the Spirit gavethem the ability to speak.

(5) Devout Jewish men fromevery nation were living in

Jerusalem. (6) Theygathered when they heard

the wind. Each person wasstartled to recognize his owndialect when the disciplesspoke. (7) Stunned andamazed, the people in the

crowd said, "All of these menwho are speaking areGalileans. (8) Why do wehear them speaking in our

native dialects? (9) We'reParthians, Medes, andElamites. We're people fromMesopotamia, Judea,

Cappadocia, Pontus, theprovince of Asia, (10)Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt,and the country near Cyrene

in Libya. We're Jewishpeople, converts to Judaism,

and visitors from Rome,(11) Crete, and Arabia. We






hear these men in our own

languages as they tell aboutthe miracles that God hasdone." (12) All of thesedevout men were stunnedand puzzled. They asked

each other, "What can this

mean?" (13) Others said jokingly, "They're drunk onsweet wine." (14) Then

Peter stood up with theeleven apostles. In a loudvoice he said to them, "Menof Judea and everyone living

in Jerusalem! You mustunderstand this, so payattention to what I say. (15)These men are not drunk as

you suppose. It's only ninein the morning. (16)Rather, this is what theprophet Joel spoke about:(17) 'In the last days, God

says, I will pour my Spirit oneveryone. Your sons anddaughters will speak whatGod has revealed. Your

young men will see visions.

Your old men will dreamdreams. (18) In those daysI will pour my Spirit on my

servants, on both men andwomen. They will speakwhat God has revealed.(19) I will work miracles in

the sky and give signs onthe earth: blood, fire, andclouds of smoke. (20) Thesun will become dark, and

the moon will become as redas blood before the terrifyingday of the Lord comes. (21)Then whoever calls on thename of the Lord will be

saved.' (22) "Men of Israel,listen to what I say: Jesusfrom Nazareth was a manwhom God brought to your

attention. You know thatthrough this man Godworked miracles, did






amazing things, and gave

signs. (23) By using menwho don't acknowledgeMoses' Teachings, youcrucified Jesus, who wasgiven over to death by a

plan that God had

determined in advance. (24)But God raised him fromdeath to life and destroyed

the pains of death, becausedeath had no power to holdhim. (25) This is whatDavid meant when he said

about Jesus: 'I always seethe Lord in front of me. Icannot be moved because heis by my side. (26) That is

why my heart is glad and mytongue rejoices. My bodyalso rests securely (27)because you do not abandonmy soul to the grave or allow

your holy one to decay.(28) You make the path oflife known to me. In yourpresence there is complete

joy.' (29) "Brothers, I can

tell you confidently that ourancestor David died and wasburied and that his tomb is

here to this day. (30) Davidwas a prophet and knew thatGod had promised with anoath that he would place one

of David's descendants onhis throne. (31) Davidknew that the Messiah wouldcome back to life, and he

spoke about that before itever happened. He said thatthe Messiah wouldn't be leftin the grave and that hisbody wouldn't decay. (32)

"God brought this man Jesusback to life. We are allwitnesses to that. (33) Godused his power to give Jesus

the highest position. Jesushas also received and haspoured out the Holy Spirit as






the Father had promised,

and this is what you'reseeing and hearing. (34)David didn't go up toheaven, but he said, 'TheLord said to my Lord, "Take

my highest position of power

(35) until I put yourenemies under yourcontrol."' (36) "All the

people of Israel should knowbeyond a doubt that Godmade Jesus, whom youcrucified, both Lord and

Christ." (37) When thepeople heard this, they weredeeply upset. They askedPeter and the other apostles,

"Brothers, what should wedo?" (38) Peter answeredthem, "All of you must turnto God and change the wayyou think and act, and each

of you must be baptized inthe name of Jesus Christ sothat your sins will beforgiven. Then you will

receive the Holy Spirit as a

gift. (39) This promisebelongs to you and to yourchildren and to everyone

who is far away. It belongsto everyone who worshipsthe Lord our God." (40)Peter said much more to

warn them. He urged, "Saveyourselves from this corruptgeneration." (41) Thosewho accepted what Peter

said were baptized. That dayabout 3,000 people wereadded to the group. (42)The disciples were devotedto the teachings of the

apostles, to fellowship, tothe breaking of bread, andto prayer. (43) A feeling offear came over everyone as

many amazing things andmiraculous signs happenedthrough the apostles. (44)






All the believers kept

meeting together, and theyshared everything with eachother. (45) From time totime, they sold theirproperty and other

possessions and distributed

the money to anyone whoneeded it. (46) Thebelievers had a single

purpose and went to thetemple every day. They were

joyful and humble as theyate at each other's homes

and shared their food. (47)At the same time, theypraised God and had thegood will of all the people.

Every day the Lord savedpeople, and they were addedto the group.

Let’s again look at the 6 steps of faith. Since Godcan only be pleased by faithwe must put these steps offaith into practice daily. Sofrom now on each lesson
