USER GUIDE

This guide provides important information on how to use your Mobile Office System. Although your mobile office may not look exactly like the images shown in the guide, the adjustments and accessories are similar.

To prevent the desk drawers from opening unexpectedly always keep them locked when the

vehicle is moving.

Slatwall Overhead Hutch and Side/Back Panels The Mobile Office is equipped with a Slatwall Overhead Hutch and a Slatwall panel on either the side or back of the desk. Video instructions for attaching the accessories can be found by scanning the QR code at the end of this guide with a mobile device. Optional Slatwall accessories are available through the State Farm ePro system. See the Optional Equipment section of this guide for more information. You may also find additional accessories at many local retailers or through online sources such as Amazon.com. Search for “Suncast Slatwall accessories”.

Adjustable Tray Your desk is equipped with an adjustable tray for your keyboard or laptop. To adjust the height, remove the wing nut from the L brackets on each side of the underside of the tray. Pull the laptop tray out from the desk and move it to a new groove to achieve the desired height. Reattach the wing nuts and tighten to secure the tray. Video instructions for adjusting and securing the tray can be found by scanning the QR code at the end of this guide with a mobile device.

L Bracket

Printer Tie-Downs (Thumb Lock TV Grips) The Mobile Office is supplied with a set of tie-downs which should be used to secure the printer to the desktop. Instructions are included in the package. The tie-downs are located in the desk drawer.

Chair The chair is equipped with an auto-return cylinder which prevents it from spinning while the vehicle is in motion. The mechanism will keep the chair facing the same direction when it is unoccupied. Adjustments Chair Height Adjustment (Pneumatic Lift) To raise the seat, lift your weight off of the seat and pull up on the front lever. To lower the seat, lift up on the lever while you are seated; release the lever when the seat reaches the desired height.

If your chair cannot be adjusted to a comfortable height, you may want to replace the cylinder with a lower or higher one. See the Optional Equipment section at the end of this guide for details. Tilting Backrest The backrest tilting angle can be adjusted with the back lever. Hold up the backrest tilting lever until the desired position is reached then press the lever to lock into place. Back Height Adjustment Adjust the height of the backrest by placing one hand on each side of the backrest. Lift and click into place. To return the backrest to its bottommost height position, lift the backrest all the way to the top and slide it down. Arms See the Optional Equipment section at the end of this guide for details on how to order arms for your chair. Seat Slider Mechanism The chair uses a custom designed mechanism that allows it to slide forward and backward. To operate the mechanism, sit in the chair, lift up the black handle on the base and slide the chair until the desired position is reached. Then release the handle. Do not push down on the handle with your foot as this could damage the mechanism. Video instructions for moving the seat slider can be found by scanning the QR code at the end of this guide with a mobile device. Power Inverter The power inverter is turned on and off using the switch mounted on the side of the Overhead Hutch. The inverter is on a timer and will automatically shut off after a set period of time to prevent the battery from draining. Note: the power inverter must be on for the overhead desk light to function.

Ladder Rack Adjustments (if applicable) Please note that the ladder rack brackets are located in your desk drawer.

Slatwall Laptop Shelf The Slatwall Laptop Shelf can be mounted to the Overhead Hutch allowing for more desktop space. It has a non-slip surface and is mounted using the standard Slatwall hardware. Part Number: VWSWBN199BK Slatwall Hook The Slatwall Hook can be used for equipment like extension cords on your Overhead Hutch or panels. It is mounted using the standard Slatwall hardware. Part Number: 780092 Small Slatwall Basket The Small Slatwall Basket can be mounted on your Overhead Hutch or panels for additional storage space. Chair Arms Arms can be added to the chair installed in your Mobile Office. These height and width adjustable padded arms are easy to attach to your chair. They can be raised up to 2 ½” and each arm can be widened by 1 ½”. Part Number: BR5A Alternate Chair Cylinders

For chairs that cannot be adjusted to a comfortable height, alternative chair cylinders to raise or lower the chair further are available. Note: The alternate chair cylinders do not have the auto-return feature that keeps the chair from spinning while the vehicle is in motion. Part Number: CYL4-HD (Allows the chair to be lowered 1 ½ inches further than the standard cylinder.) Part Number: CYL-5 (Allows the chair to be raised 1 ½ inches further than the standard cylinder.) File Tote The File Tote has a durable outer shell with padded inner walls and can be secured with a vehicle seat belt. It comes with a lid to keep documents private and safe from the elements.
