    ` Our project aims at live monitoring of the heart patient.

    ` The ECG level and the beat rate may go down at any time when the

    patient is overexcited, depressed or at time of stress or strain.

    ` A patient wearing our device gets continuously informed about the

    condition of his heart.

    ` As the client is equipped with a GPS Device, the location of the

    person can also be traced by the Doctor or care taker

    ` It uses the conventional Telephone wires for data transfer and not

    portable, which makes it impossible for carrying.

    GPS is not integrated

    ` Some of them are equipped with some form of storage, which

    allows them to store the ECG data and be analysed after

    transferring them to a computer

    ` The Patient is provided with a portable device that continuously

    monitor the heart and details will be sent to the server.

    ` The server will monitor this data.

    ` When it detect any vulnerable situation, it informs the doctor and

    caretaker regarding the situation of the patient.

    ` In addition to that, the doctor can lively monitor the ECG graph and

    current geographic location of the patient.

    ` The Server first opens the specified port and starts accepting

    incoming connections.

    ` Once a client connects to the Server, a new thread is created for

    monitoring the incoming data.

    The Data will be in the form of bytes. This needs to be converted tostring for being processed.

    ` The condition of the heart will now be monitored.

    ` If the condition goes bad, an email and SMS will be sent to the

    doctor and care taker of the patient.

    `

    The details will be logged.

    ` The GPS Module is used for tracking the location of the patient.

    ` Here, we use the Google Latitude API for GPS implementation.

    ` A GPS enabled Smart Phone continuously monitors the LocationDetails and updates the Server.

    ` The Doctor can view the Location of the patient in a map.

    ` The map has different views like Satellite View, Road Map View,Hybrid View, Terrain View

    ` The Graph module can used to plot the live ECG Data received

    from the client.

    ` The Doctor can monitor the condition of the heart in real-time.

    ` The Unique Patient ID & situation of the heart is concatenated and

    converted to bytes.

    ` These bytes are transferred sent over the Internet to the server

    through GPRS internet.
