STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONSNexans cables strictly conform to international and military specifications e.g. SEFT027, MIL C 17, NF C 32070 C1/C2, NF C 93550, IEC 60332 1/2/3,IEC 60331, OTAN 6145 standards. They can also be approved by Bureau Veritas and Lloyd. They can conform to other standards according to the requirements (BS, VG, MIL...).Our Research and Development department creates specific cables to meet customer needs regarding the chemical, mechanical and electrical properties of the cables.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICSCables available in every type of construction, well-adapted to harsh and hostile environments (from -90°C to +260°C, and even +350°C for aeronautical fire resistant cables) which are designed to meet stringent chemical, mechanical and/or electrical properties.Very flexible, this cables can be used with operating voltage up to 3700 volts.

Multipair and multiconductor cables

Standard multiconductors (SMA, SMBL, GRTH) with or without halogen.

Special multiconductors :- Shielded or unshielded halogen free multipairs with or without individual screen for data transmission in electronic equipment (2 to 21 pairs, or more on request, in 0.22, 0.34 or 0.75 mm² cross sections); approved by Bureau Veritas (Example 1).

- Halogen free multiconductors in low, medium and high voltage links (conductors in 0.15 to 120 mm² cross sections) with or without indivi-dual screen. Cables available in every type of construction : monoconductor, multipair, triple, quad, etc. (Examples 2 and 3).
