MIKE MAHER

Mike Maher is an energetic musician who draws inspiration from classic rock ‘n’ roll, funk/blues, and jazz/fusion. His original music is lyrical and melodic, with fun danceable pop rhythms that keep up with the modern edge. The Mike Maher Band heavily features vocal harmonies and horn players, to deliver a sound that is unique to the region. Maher’s distinct sound also allows him to reinterpret popular electronic trends into something that is both a tasteful and exciting live performance. With an energetic stage presence, The Mike Maher Band entertains a wide variety of audiences with originals and favorites from groups like Chicago, Daft Punk, Frankie Valli, Stevie Wonder, Coldplay, Toto, Fun, and Maroon 5.

Mike Maher and his band have been performing throughout Wisconsin since 2006. His music has been heard at festivals, clubs, weddings, coffee shops, bars, and independent radio stations in almost every corner of the state. Originating as a music project from St. Norbert College, The Mike Maher Band has an especially strong following in the Fox Valley, Wausau, and Milwaukee metropolitan areas. Maher graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Norbert College, with a Bachelor of Music in 2010. He currently teaches music in the public school system and private lessons. Since graduating college, Maher has been steadily growing his reputation as a performer across Wisconsin particularly in metropolitan regions of Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, and Wausau.
