From traditional hot-spots like London, Berlin and Ibiza, electronic music is now exploding everywhere: from South America and Eastern Europe to Las Vegas and Japan. And one brand is at the centre of it all. Mixmag is the world’s biggest dance music and clubbing magazine, (readership 190,00, ABC audited circulation 20,817), the biggest and most vital online presence and the force behind events from club

tours and huge parties in Los Angeles and Ibiza to word-of-mouth events in East London. Mixmag is the bible of the new dance music explosion. The world’s biggest brands know it. That’s why Armani teamed up with us this year for a six-month cross-media campaign, it’s why Smirnoff partnered with us to launch its amazing Sensation parties at the O2. It’s why Disney came to us to launch its Tron Legacy ‘R3configur3d’

soundtrack and it’s why Calvin Klein asked us to run a fashion shoot for it with hot young DJs and artists.

The magazine is now available in print and digitally around the world through our iPad/iPhone/Android app. With a colossal social media presence and website, Mixmag has the history, the authority and the creativity to give the right brands an authentic association with dance music and club culture.

In the past year Mixmag has transformed its digital platforms. Our audience on Mixmag.net has quadrupled, now receiving over 840,000 page impressions per month from 350,000 unique users. This is down to the original and unrivalled editorial content produced from a team of journalists, spread virally by a team of social media specialists.

Mixmag TV is YouTube’s only official original content provider for dance music and is the biggest electronic music video platform on the site. It features weekly live DJ streams and more dance music TV series in the pipeline. Mixmag TV has had over 2 million views.

Our mobile app has had over 70,000 downloads, and is becoming one of the fastest selling dance music apps ever. The Facebook audience is larger and more active than ever, reaching over 864,000 people per month.

micrositeOur Microsite, housed on Mixmag.net, is a blank canvas, ready to suit the needs of an advertiser or brand that is keen to push itself in an interactive and creative manner:

It’s the best way to create a home for exciting digital content. Armani Exchange pioneered this with a team of Mixmag journalists, photographers and videographers creating unique content. Each microsite can be tailored with editorial and online content designed to specific objectives. The microsite has mechanisms to link a brand to their social network sites, allowing it to reach its target demographic through Mixmag editorial and our own social networks.

reader ProFileMixmag readers are the opinion- formers and leaders in clubbing. They are the ones who make the happening music happen, and the cool products cool within their peer group.

They are the first to recommend a new tune and the first on a new fashion trend. They’re at that new cool club very early, and they move on before it starts to go cold .

Our demographic spans young budding bedroom DJs through to accomplished producers. They’re the best informed about top DJs and upcoming tunes, and they just have to have the latest mobile (even if their current one is less than six months old). They’re the biggest downloaders of music in the UK.

The median age of a Mixmag reader is 24 (72% male, 28% female) and they tend to be urban and single.

They have a high disposable income and a high propensity to spend it on:nights outclothesmusicthe latest mobile phones and mP3 players

Nearly 80% do not read another music magazine, and they spend little time watching TV, especially at weekends.
