MLS WORKS OVERVIEW
As the League’s community outreach initiative, MLS WORKS is dedicated toaddressing important social issues and serves as a platform for League and Clubphilanthropic programs.
Key Objectives
• Work closely with Clubs to ensure national programs have local benefit and local programs arepromoted nationally
• Target key social issues identified by MLS fans
Areas of Focus
• Cancer awareness: Soccer Kicks Cancer• Anti-discrimination: Don’t Cross the Line• Health and wellness: Active Bodies Active Minds• Community service: Unite. Volunteer. Serve.
MLS WORKS-KEY INITIATIVES
Unite. Volunteer. Serve. – The League’s community service program seeks to galvanize thesoccer community in a collaborative effort to combine sport and service, promote goodwill withinMLS markets and improve lives and communities at the grassroots level.

ENGAGEMENT• TWO (2) 12-WEEK SEASONS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR• MINIMUM OF 3 DAYS PER WEEK (2 PRACTICES & 1 GAME DAY)• MINIMUM OF 75 MINUTE PRACTICES (K-2ND GRADE) AND 90 MINUTES (3RD-8TH GRADE)• EACH PARTICIPANT RECEIVES: JERSEY, SOCKS, SHINGUARDS AND A BALL
