of the MLK Day of Service at Villanova University. Our mission is to provide much needed volunteer

work to communities around the Philadelphia area. Many places in these communities, including

schools, daycares, YMCA’s, recreation centers, homeless shelters, and parks, are in desperate need

for cleanup and refurbishment, but do not have the funds needed to address these problems.

MLK Day of Service is a day where people all around the Philadelphia area come together and volunteer

at places in need. Villanova University has almost 1,000 volunteers every year who paint, clean, and

repair items at over 30 different service sites. We spend the entire day giving back to the community

around us, and help create a more positive environment at these locations.

Our work would not be possible without the help of companies like yours. Your tax-deductible donation

could allow us to paint a Kindergarten classroom in Center City Philadelphia, clean bedrooms in a

homeless shelter, or help to repair the pews at a local church. Your sponsorship will both benefit our

efforts and enhance your company’s image of public consciousness and concern. It will also offer the

opportunity to advertise your brand to hundreds of students, volunteers, and people living in the

Philadelphia area.
