The current system has been upgraded to a full solution Konica Minolta Aero DR X70 Unit ceiling mounted with X-ray table and tilting wall stand procured via NHS Supply Chain. The installation of the new system required a complete refurbishment of the rooms including compliance to electrical Installations in medical locations BS 7671. Construction works to create adequate clinical areas for effective delivery of services include as follows: Alteration of partition walls to reconfigure the layout of the area and creation of a new corridor. Mechanical ventilation with hygienic air grilles Hot and cold water services for clinical sink installed via IPS panel in Solid Grade Laminated New fire smoke detectors New antiglare dimmable lights panels in LED New heating and cooling at X-Ray department with Daikin VRV IV Heat Pump with Variable Refrigerant Temperature (VRT) New Lead screens New MEIGaN panels New hygienic Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) doors Construction Project Team: Project Manager: Alessandro Annunziata Lead Designer Alessandro Annunziata Main Contractor David Nott and sons ltd Project Facts & Figures: Budget: £580,000.00 including equipment Funding Source: Capital Tendering: single stage with priced schedule of works Contract: JCT Minor works
