REMINDER - MOPAR TIRE WORKS AND OHTSU TIRES - REMINDER
Based on dealer feedback, the Mopar TireWorks Program is happy to announce the
availability of an entry level tire option for your used car needs — Ohtsu Tires.
Beginning back in January, Ohtsu models are available in the FP7000 and ST5000
models, which will cover 37 different sizes. These tires are NOT intended to be sold to
your service lane customers, as they do not fit in Mopar’s strategy for maintaining
customers driving experience through the Original Equipment tire replacement. These
tires are now available to Mopar dealers as part of the national launch. Please note that
because these tires are not intended for your service customers, they will not appear in
the Dynamic Retail Selling Guide® nor any consumer-facing platforms, which also
include:
• RightTurn
• Online Tire Stores
• eService Platforms
The Ohtsu line will also not be available through wiAdvisor. These tires will also not
receive other program benefits such as Road Hazard and Points Plus.
Your Mopar TireWorks account manager will work with you on stocking these tires

Effective since January 9, 2017, the Points Plus program will transition to a
new program, aiming to drive additional consumer traffic and business into
your dealerships! This program will bring you additional consumer events, including Buy 3 promotions. You will still receive incentives for your loyalty
to the Mopar TireWorks program, including Dealer Rewards, Winning
Lifestyles, and MSER.
All points accrued during the first week of January were credited to your
account last month. You will still have until February 28, 2017, to redeem all
remaining 2016 and 2017 points. After February 28, all remaining points will
be forfeited.

suffix. There is no change to the part or packaging - only the part number. A few things you
need to know:
• Changes will begin in February 2017
• Parts will be linked with an interchangeable supersession
• You may receive mixed shipments of the part numbers until the old part
number stock is exhausted
• Industry identifiers will remain incorporated

NAVIGATION ACTIVATION
The DealerCONNECT Navigation Activation process for vehicles equipped with 8.4A
(RA3) touchscreen radios has changed on January 17th. Look for the following
changes:
• The “Incentive Payment Detail” statement will no longer be used for billing navigation
activation sale. Sales transactions will now appear on the Mopar Vehicle Protection
“Service Contracts Dealer Invoice”
• Navigation activation sales will appear with the MVP option code “NAVACT”

Don’t forget! Mopar announced that effective since September 1, 2016, wiTECH 2.0
microPODs are eligible for 50% Mopar One fund reimbursement. Now, you can purchase

REMINDER: MANDATORY HAZMAT TRAINING POLICY
With an increased level of hazardous parts being shipped/handled by our dealerships
(e.g. airbags, PHEV batteries, etc.), FCA’s policy regarding hazmat training has changed.
Effective 10/6/16, such training is now mandatory for all dealers, and your attention is
required to help ensure compliance with federal requirements.
As of 1/27/17, 96% of dealerships have completed the training. We strongly advise that
multiple employees complete the training at each location, as it is free to train
additional personnel.
