THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE BAND THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE BAND

The United States Air Force Band is a musical organizationwith an outstanding record of achievement of more than 65 years.Known as “America’s International Musical Ambassadors,” it has wonthe hearts of millions of music lovers throughout the world. Theband’s official military life began on September 24th, 1941, with theformation of the Bolling Army Air Forces Band.

Consisting of eight unique performing ensembles - The AirForce Strings, Airmen of Note, Ceremonial Brass, Concert Band,Diplomats, Max Impact, Silver Wings and Singing Sergeants - The AirForce Band performs a broad variety of musical genres.

The United States Air Force Band provides music for thepresident of the United States, secretary of defense, secretary of the AirForce, chief of staff of the Air Force and other senior military andgovernment leaders. It also enhances the global Air Force mission byproviding professional musical products and services for officialmilitary, troop morale, recruiting and community relations events.
