What is an improper fraction?

Can whole numbers be written as an improper fraction?

• An improper fractions is a fraction in which the numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator.

Ex: 11/4 Yes, the whole number

becomes the numerator and the denominator is 1

Ex. 7= 7/1
