Mitchell Smith MA, In Progress Thesis Title: TBD Mitchell Smith hails from Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, where he graduated from high school in 2005. Mitchell convocated with high honours from the University of Saskacthewan in 2014, and was the recipient of the Father Henry Carr Award and the Margaret Vanderhaeghe Award. His research interests include the religious history of the frontier, environmental history, frontier history, Native- newcomer relations, and race and ethnicity in the Canadian and American Wests. Mitchell enjoys travelling, baseball, model railroading, and reading.
