3 AW Product Support Engineering

Reliability analysis is a statistical analysis on fleet data

(consumption/failures and flight hours) based on multiple factors as:

Occurrence report

Warranty Claims

Material orders booklet

Fleet configuration

Special support program process impact (PBTH contracts)

Reliability data is considered confidential information for any

manufacturer that works in a free market; its circulation to non

authorized third parties may lead to economic impact for the business.

Reliability Data are important to Customers for component behavior

monitoring and spares planning purposes.

RDSG is created to:

Introduced a secure data exchange data within selected Customers

Provide data to the Operators that want to participate together with

AW in the improvement and development of the AW products

Have in advance of the statistics a direct feedback on the

components behavior

Fleet data performances comparison exchange within members

RELIABILITY DATA SHARING GROUP OBJECTIVE

5 AW Product Support Engineering

Each Customer will be provided with common inputs to allow the data

exchange with AW in a standardized way, such to allow the use of a

larger data package coming from any different Operators’ system:

INPUTS: AC FH, P/N, S/N, TSN, Reason for removal, Unscheduled

downtime, unscheduled MMH, etc.

AW will perform aggregate and differentiated analyses to allow a

comprehensive set of information, both on reliability and DMC

Results will be provided to RDSG members on a quarterly basis

A dedicated section into Leonardo (AW Customer Portal) will be

developed to allow access only to the RDSG members for updates

and download of historical records

Note: NDA signature will be needed for the sensitivity of the data
