You don’t even have to create or develop your own product to sell online products. Affiliatemarketing is a strategy where you sell other people’s products.

In affiliate marketing, you are the middleman between a buyer and a seller. Your job is to pre-sellproducts and deliver warm buyers to the end seller’s home page.

Pre-selling is an art that not everyone has mastered. You may be so used to the continual onslaughtof advertising that you think that in order to sell online products you have to “sell, sell, sell.” In fact,you are better off providing a good user experience to your visitors and then making softballrecommendations to people who have come to trust you.

The Best Advice For Internet MarketingThe best advice for Internet marketing is to never lose sight of what you are really after, financialindependence. Making your online business a success and being able to get out from under thehassle of living paycheck to paycheck is what is important here.

So, the best advice for Internet marketing is to stay focused on what you need to learn and nevergive up. They say that most people give up and go back to their "normal" way of life just beforethey "make it" and become a success online. Don't let this happen to you.

A couple of years ago Google came out with the Panda update and messed with a lot of people'sbottom lines. Changing their algorithms meant that everyone needed to learn new ways of doingthings and a lot of people lost a lot of money in the process.

Now Google has done it again with another update called the Penguin. It remains to be seen what isin store for us this time.

But this is what I mean, you need to keep learning all of the time to continue to be a successfulbusiness owner. No one can just put up a website and become a success.

There are so many things to learn, none of which are difficult, but most do take some time to master.

Keyword research for one. Keyword research is a tedious task that needs to be done often to keep upwith how searchers are searching for products they need and want.

Search engine optimization is another. After your keyword research you need to optimize yourwebsite around those keywords by creating content for your website that will make those searchersinterested in what you have to say.

If you can establish yourself as an expert in your niche then you will get the bulk of the traffic andthe bulk of the sales because people will trust you.

Back linking is still another. Posting content on others sites with links back to your own is a greatway to increase traffic and hopefully, sales. You can do this with forum posts, posting comments onothers blogs, or by putting up a banner ad on someone else's site, with their permission of course.

Just make sure that what you post is not any kind of spam and that the places you choose to post arerelevant to your niche. If you spam, you will get caught and booted off of the search enginesaltogether.

That is no way to run a successful business.

All of this is how you get to be the authority in your niche. But, you must remember that things canchange in a heartbeat so you must keep up with those changes or be left behind.

1. You are promoting a website and not a Landing Page, also known as a Squeeze page.

To generate leads you need an eye-popping landing page. It's exactly what it sounds like. Youpromote your landing page, people LAND on it, see your offer and provide you with their contactinfo so they can get more details on what you offer. Your standard website simply can't accomplishthis effectively, usually websites are too busy, to generic, too "professional." In contrast a landingpage SCREAMS benefit! It tells readers what they will get (SOMETHING AWESOME) but theymust act now! Landing pages are FILLED with benefits, short punchy copy that gets attention.Landing pages include a limited time offer, they include a form that needs to be completed in orderto get the offer. Guess what you are doing with that lead form? YES! You are generating a LEAD,and getting the follow up info you need to provide the requested material/product, then follow up,and build your house list for sending future offers to that person. Did you catch that last part aboutlist building? I slipped that in an the end, but it is IMPORTANT. A Landing Page must ALWAYSALWAYS give readers the option to SUBSCRIBE to your newsletter/or future offers. You'veworked hard to generate that lead so do your best to offer them the chance to receive future offers ormailings from you.

2. Your promotional copy is boring.

In case you haven't noticed you've got oodles of competition out there. The web is filled with gizmosand gadgets. Your copy needs to get noticed or it will die a quick death in the email trash folder.Whether your offer is an email offer, or a landing page, or an online post, you have got to lead witha powerful headline, and follow that up with copy that keeps people reading. Most affiliatecompanies provide you with excellent copy or banners for promotion. Don't try to rewrite somethingbetter if that is not your strong suit, use what they provide, copy, paste send. Simplify.

3. You haven't made an offer.

If you want to get leads you MUST, MUST, MUST make an offer. Whatever your pitch isREWARD the person reading it for taking action - NOW - TODAY - in the next 24 hours! Instillexcitement and a sense of urgency. You've got a great product or offer right? You don't want peopleclicking off any moving on to something else. You want and MUST get people to read andRESPOND to your offer. Give them reasons to do so. Don't know what to offer? Check for onlineproducts and affiliates that include Private Label and resell rights, if they do you can use those asleverage in your offers. By adding these you can convert a luke-warm offer into one that is HOT,HOT, HOT.

4. You aren't marketing in the right places to the right people.

A lot of people new to online marketing make the mistake of spending money on advertising orleads that never produce results. Taking shortcuts and buying mass leads or mass lists simply doesn'twork. I am going to say that again. If you think you will generate QUALITY leads by buying masslists, visitors, subscribers or hits, stop right now. Sorry to tell you the harsh truth, but building anonline business means finding the best places to advertise that target YOUR market. Hint: Google isNOT the place to start if you have a small budget. In the business opportunity market you will wantto look at Safelist marketing, Traffic Exchanges, Solo Ads, Ad Swaps, and email marketingproviders like Aweber and GetResponse. Your budget for online promotion doesn't have to be hugebut you will get the best results with paid ads at reputable sources. Do your homework.

5. You are so busy copy, pasting and promoting you have forgotten one of the most important rulesin business.

Personality can make all the difference. Connecting with people is the key to making sales. In yourzest to build your online business, don't forget to be a REAL PERSON. Include your name, emailaddress, skype number, facebook etc on your ad copy to provide people with assurance that you aremore than a promoter, you are an online business owner. Anything you can do to stand out andseparate yourself from all the other offers out there helps.

The sadfact is, you've probably done nothing on this matter whatsoever. And so you will continue to fail.That's 100 percent certain.

You must give your prospects a reason to pick up the phone and call you. Do you? Consider this.Over the years I have turned myself from an impecunious graduate student (albeit at Harvard) intoan online multi-millionaire. How did it happen? What Is Hot For Internet Marketing Business TodayIf you aren't sure what is hot for internet marketing business today I have one word for you: Panda.You may have heard people doing a lot of talking about Panda lately and if you aren't sure what it isI will help you out. In this article I will explain what Panda is, whether it is a good or bad thing andwhat you need to do with your business to make Panda work for you.

Panda is an algorithm update by Google. It was actually implemented in early 2011 and it sent manypeople into a tailspin. There has been much written about in regards to Panda and, as you canimagine, not all of it has been accurate.

For this article on what is hot for internet marketing business today I want to start with the basics soif you're not sure what an algorithm is it is basically just the computer program that Google uses todefine how websites will be ranked.

I'm sure you know that there are millions of sites on line and more everyday. All the search engineswant to make sure that when you and I go to the search engine to find information on some productor service that we get just what we are looking for. They want our results to be as spot on aspossible. To that end they are always tweaking their algorithms.

For us as internet marketers these tweaks aren't really a bad thing it just means that we need to stayup to date and we may need to make some changes to our sites and the way we do things so we don'tlose any of our rankings.

One of the biggest things that came out of the Panda update was the way that people did articlemarketing. It was common practice that people would find a list of keywords associated with theirniche market, write a bunch of fairly generic low quality articles (or have them written for them) andsubmit them all over to these huge sites called article directories.

The problem, at least according to Google, is that the majority of these articles were repetitive withlittle new information being presented and these huge article directories had millions of them.

That was a no- no as far as Google was concerned. For that reason many of these article directoriessuddenly found themselves on page 512 instead of page one. As a result their traffic went from araging river to a trickle virtually overnight.

Scary, right? But it isn't all bad and it isn't the death of article marketing. You just need to learn howto do it better. Today the articles need to be longer for one thing. They should be at least 700 wordslong.

But that's still not enough, they must also be relevant to the topic at hand, they shouldn't be loadedup with mindless keyword phrases and they must be well written.

You should also make changes right on your website too. Add new content regularly and follow thesame quality guidelines I just spelled out. In addition don't make your site all about keywordoptimized content but rather just focus on a topic. If your site is about dog training make that yourfocus when creating your content.

For example, don't get so caught up on a bunch of mindless keywords: dog training for GermanShepard's, Dog Training for Rottweilers, Dog Training for Poodles, etc. Instead go for topics like:the best dog collars for dog training, should you use treats for dog training, how long does it take totrain a dog, etc. See the difference? These are topics not just keywords.

So, that is what is hot for internet marketing business today. Follow these simple tips and youshouldn't have to be afraid of the big bad Panda.
