Greetings MO-ARK District Board,
Where has the time gone! First semester is already almost over, and 2014 is just around the corner. The Holidays can be a busy time for clubs, and it is an important time of the year to become energized about service.
Our time as a District Board is coming to the last leg. During the last three months of your tenure, make sure to encourage your clubs more than ever to attend District Leadership Conference. The registration is due in February, and now is the most important time of the year to remind them of the connections and experience they can have in Springfield March 6-8.

DLC Advertisements
Keep on Selling!
Selling advertisements for the DLC program is a crucial part of making sure our conference is a success. Remember to sell your $200
worth of advertisements by the Pre-Conference board meeting. Failure to meet this goal will result in not being able to speak at
conference!

Where To Sell Advertisements: -Chances are your local Kiwanis club helps area Key Club attend DLC. If you attend Kiwanis meetings (and you should be) it shouldn’t be too hard to get a resounding YES when you ask them to help you out! -Service organizations that your Division has partnered with will certainly help you as you are trying to sell ads. It’s a great way for them to get their name out! -Advertisements can also be sold to people who are interested in running for District/Divisional office. It can include their picture and reasons why they are running for office. -YOUR HOME CLUB!
TIPS TO SELL THE ADS WELL: 1. Be Enthusiastic- Whenever you are selling advertisements, remind
your audience about how much you love Key Club and what DLC means
to you. 2. Sell Ahead of Time- The people you are selling to will not appreciate it if you are selling them last second
and rush things.
