Dan & Claudia Aanderud, Germany

• Praise for the Lord’s protection and healing over Dan. He had a cancerous tumor and, despite the pandemic, he was able to have it removed and recovered from the surgery. There is no sign that the cancer has spread.

• Praise for the marriage of a young couple in the Disciplemakers ministry. They had to adjust the ceremony for Covid-19 but were able to get married and the small gathering heard about the gospel and saw their faithfulness in this marriage.

• Prayer for complete reliance on the power of God to bring fruit through all areas of our ministry.

• Prayer for the 6 young people (between the ages of 17 and 22) in their German church to see fruit from their evangelistic efforts.

• Prayer for the new group called Moms of Special Needs Kids, that we would reach these people for Christ.

Dan & Tonita Aceves, WBT, PNG

• Praise for God’s provision and protection. Their son hurt his hand badly and they were able to find a nurse to tend to him. No broken bones or torn tendons.

Sara & JD Bennett, TBM, Spain

• Please pray for their transition to home, moving out of their rental-home, international travel with COVID restrictions, and the many expenses that come with resettling a family.

• Prayer for their daughter’s health. She has bacteria in her small intestine causing digestion issues.

• Please pray for the new Ministry Center location; pray for them to receive the opening license and for the city to turn on the water soon so that they can operate.

Konrad & Betty Binder, Ethnos360, Germany

• Prayer for their “Sendme360” project.

• Pray for wisdom in their rethinking operations at base-x since they can no longer meet face-to-face.

• Praise for Konrad’s graduation from SCS. He is grateful for the funding of his classes and is using everything he learned in his ministry’s projects, especially base-x.

• Praise that the transition from Cypress to Cary was smooth and that they are closer to their families. Please pray for the family to make connections with new friends and coworkers and for their kids to adjust to their new schools.

• Please continue to pray for healing of Shawn’s right eye. He continues to struggle with blurry vision.

Les & Kathy Bruce, Biblical Byways, US

• Pray for their Covid-free backyard Bible study. They are reaching out to their neighbors and they can already see God working in their lives.

• Pray for Lillian who is translating the Psalms into Alamblak. Praise that she now has a phone and dialogues with Les about the grammar and other translation concerns.

• Pray for Yoni who has expressed interest in working on the Alamblak dictionary. Pray that God brings him even closer to Him in this endeavor.

Glenn & Dorothy Budd, ABWE, Peru

• Praise God for a good and efficient move for the New Hope Pregnancy Center in Chiclayo.

• Praise for God’s work continuing in the remote mountains Glenn flew to before. People are coming to Christ and being baptized there.

• Praise that Glenn and Dorothy, along with their directive board, continue almost daily communication via WhatsApp, monthly board meetings on Zoom and times of prayer.

• Praise that they can continue online classes for counseling and other future missions’ endeavors.

• Please continue to pray that the virtual counseling platform training can be accessed as soon as possible for the leaders at the Center.

• Please pray for the 6 young people that desire to use their talents and abilities for the pro-life movement, that their desire would become reality in the new model of virtual counseling.

• Pray for the recuperation of our friends from churches in Chiclayo, who came down with the virus.

• Prayer for safety on their return to Florida from California

• Prayer for God’s timing to return to PNG to settle our affairs in the Dom and for whatever job God has for us at the Homes of Ethnos360.

• Praise for the additional 10% support they have received since their last update.

• Pray for God’s leading and timing to return to Papua New Guinea.

• Pray for the health of the babies, peace and comfort as new mothers experience stress from possible miscarriage and pregnancy issues.

• Pray for lifestyle transformations and salvations. Pray for restoration of broken relationships and bring families closer to God.

• Pray for financial and medical resources. • Continue to pray that women come to CAPS for help and follow

through with their scheduled appointments at CAPS. • Pray for the current Fall volunteer training class at CAPS. Please

pray for wisdom and protection for their volunteers and staff. • Pray that their fourth clinic permitting would be smooth and

expedited through the city process.

• Pray for those who cannot cross the border to return to the Tecate Missions International due to Covid. Pray that God provides the help they need.

• Pray for the students that had to be turned away from the Bible Institute due to government restrictions on the number of students in classes.

• Praise for the installment of equipment at Bible Institute that allows them to reach other parts of the world. Please pray for continued learning in this area.

• Please pray for those affected by the fires on the West Coast

• Pray also that God would let his glory be known to the world through his followers.

• Pray with them for wisdom to trust in God’s timing and provision to return to Peru.

• Pray for healing for those with COVID and a resolution to the situation.

• Pray for Aruj’s upcoming ordination on Friday, November 20.

• Praise God that they are at 70% of support needed. Please continue to pray for their support and wisdom as they plan.

• Pray for Thailand; they are in the midst of political upheaval. Pray for protection and the safety of the people and their government officers.

Jon & Tammy Junker, TEAM, Japan

• Prayer for the Azumino church. Pastor Koiwai has retired and has a new job with Sachi at a convalescent home. Pray for the church to adjust to this change in a God-honoring way.

• Praise the Lord for the ways He is blessing and causing growth during this challenging time for the church. Praise that the presentation our young missionaries gave at the pastors’ meeting was very good despite technical difficulties.

• Praise for Jon’s new opportunity to meet pastors in person at a 2-week church-planting seminar.

Miriam Kanagy, TEAM, Brazil

• Praise God for the provisions Miriam has had moving to Idaho. She is starting a new position in TEAM, Regional Member Care Coordinator.

• Praise for the new friend she has, a German Shepherd puppy.

• Pray for God to provide Miriam with strength and peace in this time of many changes.

• Pray for these two new missionaries; pray that God would direct them and bless them in their support raising.

• Pray that God would direct them about seeing the San Diego Dr for Jessica’s vertigo and bring healing.

• Pray for their son, Levi, to grow strong and healthy.

• Pray for their building; Covid restrictions are making it difficult to bring classes there.

• Pray for health and protection. If just one person gets sick, they will need to shut down all of the classes.

• Praise that Dan’s Covid test came back negative and thanks for the understanding of the families in that area for waiting on starting English classes.

• Pray for the many members in their church group who are out of work and in need.

• For some family prayers, pray for wisdom and clarity and the logistics of Ashton’s decision to pursue university. Praise that Ashton published a small devotional and is now a published author.

• Please be in prayer about some health concerns with family in the States.

Todd & Leilani Mathisen, The Navigators, US

• Praise God for Robert’s and Gabe’s wonderful opportunities to serve. Pray that God keeps using them in even more amazing ways and that the transition to full-time ministry goes smoothly for them and their families.

• Pray for their daughter Naomi’s school situation. She is doing Zoom studies along with mom’s teaching.

• Pray for Jesus to come again soon! Until then, pray for a cure; and for this ministry; and the worldwide Church to be the witnesses we are supposed to be during this unique time in history.

• Pray that the students’ hearts will be open more than ever, looking for spiritual answers. Please also pray that they can continue to disciple Christian students who in turn disciple fellow students from other cultures for Jesus' sake.

• Pray that they can start Bible studies with our PODS or one on one.

• Pray for them to be able to connect with international students new to Cal Poly

• Please continue asking God to completely heal Gayle. Since the heart procedure, she continues to have discomfort in her chest and difficulty breathing occasionally.

• Please pray for peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Our son, Benjamin, and his family live in the region.

Dave & Jena Mough, Ethnos360

• Their daughter is sick with a very rare nervous system disease. Pray for her to find healing and peace of mind in Jesus. Pray for her children as well and that God will draw the whole family closer to Him in this time.

• Praise for God’s comfort and the provision of excellent doctors.

• Praise that the hospital bills have been addressed with grace and God has provided financial help.

• Thanks for the staff and students who have been pitching in to feed Dave some delicious dinners as he continues to teach and prep for a new class.

• Praise and thanks that God has provided a Mennonite guesthouse for Jena to stay at in Columbia.

Ron & Cheryl Myers, BWMOM, Thailand

• Pray for the civil unrest in Thailand. Pray that God speaks to the people in this time and that His work is done in this situation.

• Praise that the Isan bible is published and in print.

• Pray for Bao-Ter and the Myers pursuit of creating an audio version of the scriptures. They are putting in the final touches.

• Pray for Bao-Ter’s diminished income, having lost his radio talk-show program.

• Pray that they will be able to return to Thailand soon

• Praise for two new nurses joining their clinics.

• Pray for women considering abortion to find Pregnancy Care Center first.

• Pray for donations to increase during this difficult time.

• Pray for protection and health for their staff and volunteers as they see patients.

• Pray that their STI testing will increase the number of women they see who are considering abortion.

• Pray for a volunteer childbirth instructor to teach our classes.

• Pray for our online advertising to reach more women needing their services.

• Pray for an end to abortion. Ron & Mikel Ann Pritz, Retired-OCI, USA

• Praise for successful surgery and healing.

• Praise for the life of Ron’s mother and her entrance into the Lord’s kingdom at 98 years. They are thankful for her presence in their lives and give praise to God for bringing her to Him.

• Praise for their Amharic translator in Africa who has finished his first draft of One God One Message (387 pages).

• Praise for the Somali translator in Africa has finished chapters 1-25 (out of 30) of One God One Message.

• Praise for their Marathi (India) edition of King of Glory picture book is nearing completion.

• Prayer for their gospel resources at www.rockintl.org/resources to continue to reach people for Christ and to equip believers to share their faith with others who speak various languages.

• Pray for accuracy in the proofreading of their Amharic draft of OGOM.

• Prayer for strength & health for their translator of the Somali edition of OGOM and completion of this book.

• Prayer for their ROCK webmaster who is completely redesigning our ROCK International website and adding an online store for the hard copies of our books & videos. (The electronic copies are free for download).

• For Alan who has had some health issues lately. His doctor is running some more tests.

• Praise that Cheri’s mother is alive and well after a stroke and is recovering well.

• Prayer that she continues to mend and that she will be able to leave the hospital soon.

• Praise for the provision of a motorbike for a pastor in India who traveled over mountains to reach people with the gospel of Christ.

• Praise that the Baptist school of Evangelism reopened, and that God provided a 32” T.V. for the school. 10 of the 15 students were able to participate in classes by meeting together and using this new equipment.

• Prayer for health care training. Christian Medical College was closed due to Covid 19 concerns. (cont.)

• They are starting online classes once more in November but many of the students there do not have internet access. Pray for wisdom in this situation.

• Pray for God’s protection from any sickness for the trainees and the teachers.

• Pray for the students. Some of them will be staying at the training place while 9 of them will be travelling/walking every day for 3 days. Some must walk for about an hour also.

• Pray for wisdom and discernment for the teachers, Ps. Ayang, Ps. Krishna, Abeni, and Aylwin.

• Please pray for Ps. Krishna and Abeni will be teaching from the screen. Pray for good, uninterrupted internet and electricity.

Eric & Anne Zander, BEM, Belgium Praise

• God has restored our spirit and rekindled our passion for the ministry of the Gospel

• Axelle is making obvious progress (even if she still wrestles)

• Anne had a car accident involving several cars but was not injured

• as our new church model is not structurally frozen, God allows us to be creative in adapting our functioning to the pandemic limitations

• most local disciples are growing strong in faith and engagement.

• we could restart our monthly children club in September with a motivated team and great participation

• a new intern (young Belgian Lady) joined our local team

• Eric has been reconfirmed is his strategic role within our mission

• 4 different new church-planting projects (coached by Eric) are going well through the pandemic

• exceptional expenses were covered by unexpected donations Prayer

• on son Samuel and his wife have been infected by the covid-19. we pray for a smooth recovery.

• we (Eric & Anne) are quarantined and waiting for our covid test result

• the past months of trouble have left some injuries (emotional and physical weariness), mainly on Eric (cont.)

• organizing church gatherings is complicated within the sanitary regulations (constantly changing)

• 4 local disciples are waiting to be baptised, we are constantly postponing

• we just had to cancel our October children club

• we can't meet with our retirement home Community and we don't know if it will still be allowed in any near future

• bad weather did not allow our Bikers group to hit the road together.

• Eric needs to plan a trip to the MidWest (late January)

• we pray for our partners around the world who have to review their priorities, and especially those who suffer and are challenged by the economical impact of this crisis.

Restricted Ben & Joyce

• People in their region are afraid and confused due to a terrible storm and restrictions the government placed to lower the number of Covid cases. Please pray that in the midst of these uncertain times, many Muslims, Jews and French that we interact with will open their hearts to our Savior.

• Pray for the believers in their region, they cannot meet in groups and some are really struggling and feeling lonely.

• Dounia is still battling the judicial system to keep sole custody of her son. Joyce has been assisting her a lot. Please pray for a breakthrough.

• Praise the Lord, He is still sending us many new people. Please pray for open hearts.

• Their ministry partner Absalom has been missing for two weeks. Pray for his safety and that news of his safety reaches our missionaries.

• Pray for the people who have been affected by terrorism attacks. There was one on a church just down the block from Ben & Joyce. Keep them safe and bring them to Jesus.

• Note from our missionaries, “As always, we thank God for each one of you, and we thank you for your faithfulness especially during these difficult times. We pray that every blessing in the spiritual realm be yours in Christ our Lord.”

• Pray for education for their children

• Pray for Manolo and his family, Javier and his family, Ramón and his family, David, Carlos; Manuel y Corina in Little Bridge

• Pray for business procedures they need to go through for their music school; that paperwork will be completed on time, God provides the right place for them to be, and that they will have grace with the authorities.

• Pray for bodily health and inner strength. Lion & Liz

• Praise for the success they have had in reaching the lost people around them.

Tony & May

• Tony and friends recently finished recording 18 training videos in the Lao Language for our teams in Asia. Pray that Lao leaders and church planters would bear much fruit through these tools.

• Southern Laos: Three of our friends and teammates have been in jail for the past 10 days for leading a worship gathering. They were recently moved to a drug rehab facility because the provincial jail is overcrowded. Pray for them, ask for justice and bold gospel witness.

• Central Laos: Our teammate and two So and Baw leaders are training leaders from smaller ethnic groups this week. It's amazing to see members of unreached people groups train their fellow men. Praise God, they are reporting at least 14 baptisms and one new church in the last few weeks!

• Northern Laos: Angry village leaders dismantled the home of an Akha family who refused to deny Jesus. Pray for the family to remain steadfast and that God is glorified in persecution.
