Food Traveler: A Grilling Class – This class will meet at Crow’s Pass Organic Farm in the wine country of Temecula. Students will be treated to a tour of the farm and then indulge in an alfresco picnic featuring grilled vegetables, mussels, and pate; all served with artisan bread and grilled fruit skewers.

General Animal Care for Teens – This class is will provide an overview of basic animal care for youth age 13 and over. Topics include: identifying breeds, animal care, bathing and grooming, and proper nutrition.

Jewelry: Just 4 Kids – Students will learn the art of bead stringing using special wire, clasps, and crimps. This class is designed for beginning students.

Discover Children’s Cooking around the World – Participants will learn to cook simple scratch dishes from Italy, France, China, Mexico, Japan, and the US. The class will end with a special graduation party where the kids will cook their parents an American BBQ.

Cooking Classes voted Second Place in Reader’s Choice Awards!

One of the most popular class series over the last few years has been our

Cooking with the Masters classes with Martha Culbertson. Martha trained

with some of the most famous chefs in the world including Julia Child.

The classes are so highly regarded that readers of The Press-Enterprise

recently voted the program to be among the best in Riverside County

during the 2011 Press-Enterprise Readers’ Choice Award. Martha’s

classes earned second place in the Favorite Cooking Class category.

Kitchen Fantasy is located on the west side of the Target Shopping Center at

27576 Ynez Rd H-1.

Food Traveler: ChiantiA class featuring the foods of Tuscany. Studies with Lorenza de Medici at her family’s 11 century Abbey in Chianti produced the recipes for this class. The menu will include Cozze Ripiene (Stuffed Mussels), Risotto with Wild Mushrooms, Veal Scaloppini in a Spicy Sauce and a grand finish of Panna Cotta with Carmel. Students will share food cooked in class. All new menus and recipes are presented. Material fee of $10 will be collected in class.

Food Traveler: Napa Valley StyleWe’re taking ideas from the California Wine Country again to feature some of the impeccable cuisine featured in the wine country restaurants. Inspiration for this class comes from The French Laundry, considered one of the best restaurants in America. Rolling in DoughThis class is all about dough. Brioche Dough will be demonstrated and then wrapped around a flavorful sausage to create Sausage en Brioche. Wondered what to do with Phyllo Dough? Purchased at a market, phyllo dough is very handy for the home cook and we will demonstrate how it can be used as a wrapping for savory and sweet fillings. The best “Pate Brisee” (short pastry for pies) recipe will be used in a classic Lemon Meringue Pie. You will leave class with lots of ideas for Brioche, Phyllo and Pate Brisee. PowerPoint Orientation: Come and make friends with Power Point, the software that will make
