MISSION STATEMENT

St. George’s is a Roman Catholic High School which seeks to encourage the growth of the whole person. We recognise the distinctiveness of each person and ensure that each person’s worth is recognised. We aim to give every pupil an equal share of resources and a commitment to individual excellence. The ethos of St. George’s is made real in the day to day life of the school. The distinctive nature of our Catholic school is to be found in the Religious Educational programme together with school worship and celebration. Our Christian values are promoted in every aspect of the curriculum and activities of the school. At St. George’s the curriculum is the servant of our purpose not the leader. Our task is to develop each child to his or her full potential. With this end in sight, everything we do in school is related to and empowered by the message of Christ.
