This short-term online program is for high school students aged 13-18 who want to put their thoughts into action! It guides students to identify an issue that matters to them, connect it to the SDGs, and craft a personal action plan to get started. Want to do something but unsure where to start or how to focus your energy? Interested in gaining tools and knowledge to plan meaningful action? Eager to kick-start this process with the support and feedback of other youth?

What do I need to participate in the Mission Possible Online Program?Laptop or computer, headphones with a microphone and an Internet connection that can support video conferencing.

What is the duration of the program and how many sessions will be conducted?The program is conducted over the course of 11 days. There will be three training sessions of 2 hours each during this time, offered on Day 1, Day 4, and Day 11.

On which day of the week will the online training sessions take place?Currently these sessions are scheduled to take place on Mondays and Thursdays. When they register, students will be able to choose their preferred time slot, as long as there are still spots remaining. A new program will be offered every two weeks at different times to accommodate as many different time zones as possible.

What online platform will be used for Mission Possible Sessions?Go To Training. A link will be sent to your email before every session and you will need to click to join the live session.

Can I ask friends to join? Yes, of course! Share the program details with your friends and encourage them to join.

What kind of action should I be planning if I have to stay home to respect social distancing guidelines or lockdowns? You can work on an action from the comfort and safety of your home. You can plan an action that will be implemented once social distancing rules are removed or, you can plan an action that can take place online / while respecting health and safety guidelines in place in your country or community. Program facilitators will help you identify what is possible and realistic and think of ways you can innovate after COVID-19.

Will I get a certificate on completion of the program?Yes, you will receive an e-certificate signed by the Secretary-General of WFUNA, upon completion of the program.

Is this a paid program?Yes, this is a paid program. The cost of this program is USD 60. It includes all training sessions, program materials, and support from trainers.

What can I do after this training program? You can implement your action! You can also sign up for more training programs to further support you in your work.

How much time should I spend on this online program?The total program will require up to 15 hours. Students are advised to spend up to 2 hours before each session to reflect on and research the issue they want to work on. The individual action plan may take up to 3 hours to prepare. The training sessions require 6 hours.

Is there a deadline to register? The registration deadline is 2 days before the start of the first session. However, registrations are on a first come basis, so registration should not be delayed.

What if I am not available to start?The Mission Possible team plans to offer a new training group every two weeks. You can sign up for later start dates if this schedule works better for you.

Will there be assignments/homework for me to do?Yes. There will be a short individual research and a personal action plan to develop.
