Shakeela is now in the 7th grade. She came to our Freedom House Children's Home a few

months ago, after being abused by her alcoholic father, who sold Shakeela into slave labor. She was removed from school and sent to work in the rice paddy fields. He would go each month and collect the money she received from her wages, then go get drunk and continue his reckless behavior. Her mother is mentally challenged, and therefore, cannot provide for her daughter. After receiving the information from her village, we rescued Shakeela and brought her to Freedom House. Her life has improved so much over the past several months. She is an excellent student and is a "mother" to the other Freedom House children. This child’s life has been changed forever because of your love, prayers and giving to Freedom House. There are hundreds more children just like Shakeela who need to be rescued from slave labor and trafficking. Breaking News! USA TODAY, America’s first National Newspaper changes its name to “The Christian” What if you awakened this morning to hear this Breaking News. Can you imagine what CNN and MSNBC would be saying? The minority groups would be outraged over a national newspaper called “The Christian.” The anti-Christ groups would be screaming discrimination and hiring lawyers, demanding the paper be shut down immediately. The national newspaper of India, “The Hindu,” has been around since 1878. The minority

groups such as Christians, Muslims and Buddhists have never challenged the newspaper’s Hindu origin, not even once. Question: Why then, do Christian Americans, the majority, allow the minority anti-Christ groups to control our Country? It is time we Christians take back America. It is time Christians stand up and defend our right to honor our Godly heritage and proclaim to the world again that we are one nation under Almighty God. India is over 90% Hindu, and I have been preaching the Gospel message of Jesus Christ there for over 20 years. Their constitution declares India as a secular State and guarantees freedom of belief, faith, and worship; however, Christians and other minority religions have been discriminated against for years. Not true in America. We have allowed minorities’ religions to build their temples, mosques and other places of worship freely, and we bent over backwards not to offend them. Do I wish that India would become a Christian nation? You bet I do! However, I am no different than the Muslim cleric who would like to see the citizens of the USA pledge their allegiance to Allah. I must respect the nation of India and obey its laws. Those who are Americans and those visiting America that are not Christians must also obey America’s laws and respect the fact that America was founded on Biblical principals. If America continues to fall away from God by rejecting His Word and allowing minority religions to become the majority, we may one day see “In gods we trust” on our currency and reading from a national newspaper called “The Muslim.” Wake Up, America! Wake Up, Christians! Wake Up! Come back to God and find Salvation in His son, Jesus Christ, the Lord!
