Miss Universe Ireland Sligo Beauty PageantQuayside Shopping Centre in association with Andrea Roche Model Agency and Sligo Weekender invite all aspiring models based in

County Sligo to enter the Miss Universe Ireland Sligo Pageant hosted by Andre Roche and her model agency. You must be 18 years old on

or before 20th February 2011 to enter the competition. This is an opportunity for local models to work with Andrea Roche’s professional

models. Applicants will be judged on the Quayside catwalk during the two fashion shows at 2pm and 3.30pm on Sunday 20th February by

a select panel of judges. Experience in modelling is not necessary. Entrants will be judged on appearance, personality, public demeanour

and public confidence on the fashion catwalk. Andrea Roche will announce the winner at 4.15pm after the two shows and she will receive

her Miss Universe Ireland Sligo sash and prize. Quayside expects local and national media to be present at the fashion shows. The winner

will represent Sligo in the final of the Miss Universe Ireland in Dublin in May 2011 with all expenses paid for this chance of a lifetime!

Spring Summer Collection Fashion ShowThere are TWO shows on the Sunday, 2pm and 3.30pm. Each show will be approximately 25 minutes. All models (Miss Universe Ireland

entrants) will be required to arrive at 12 noon at Quayside Centre to be instructed and coached by Andrea Roche and her team. We are

expecting great numbers to apply and the Judging Panel will invite 10 applicants to participate in the two fashion shows displaying the

new spring & summer collections from all the great retail brands in Quayside. All models will be presented with a complimentary gift

from the management of Quayside Shopping Centre in recognition of their participation in Miss Universe Ireland Sligo Pageant.

This promises to be the best ever Sligo Fashion Show & first ever Miss Universe Ireland Beauty Pageant to be held in the gateway city.

Complete the application form and please give us accurate information including your size and relevant measurements, and return the

application form to Quayside Shopping Centre, Management Suite no later than Tuesday 8th February 2011. Ten models will be notified

no later than Friday 11th February and photos of the finalists will be published in Sligo Weekender on Tuesday 15th February 2011.
