Contestants will compete in the areas of interview, community service, on-stage question, talent, and evening gown. For the first time in 40 years, each contestant has chosen a unique and selfless platform that strives to make the community around her a better place. The young woman chosen to reign over this year’s festival will receive a $2,000 scholarship and have an active role in a variety of community events through her year-long term. The first and second runner-up will win a $500 and $250 scholarship respectively. Scholarships are also awarded to our Miss Congeniality and Community Service Award Winners. The crowning of the 40th Annual Miss Marigold Queen will happen on Saturday, August 8 th at 7 PM at the PCHS FM Peterson Theater.
