Cooper Williams from Adams Christian High School received the chapter’s top award and will be recognized on the 2020 NFF Team of Distinction. Mississippi State athletics director John Cohen presented special awards to Nancy Biglane Kuehnle and Catherine Fortunato for their thirty-plus year

dedication to the Miss-Lou Chapter. Catherine Fortunato and her husband Joe received the South Region Chapter Leadership Award in 2004.

Cooper Williams from Adams Christian High School received the chapter’s top award and will be recognized on the 2020 NFF Team of Distinction. Presenting

the award to Cooper is Mississippi State athletics director John Cohen.

Princeton University WR Andrew Griffin received the Judge Arthur Lane Scholar-Leader-Athlete Award for his outstanding college career with the Tigers. Recognized during his high school days by the Central Indiana Chapter, Griffin claimed the 2016 NFF Midwest National High School Scholar-Athlete Award.

Twenty-one high school standouts join the evening’s other honorees at this much anticipated affair. A total of $27,000 was distributed to the scholar-athletes.

The George O’Gorman Contribution to Amateur Football Award was presented to Heather Andersen, CEO of Special Olympics NJ.

The Robert F Casciola Distinguished American Award was presented to New Jersey Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo from Hamilton, NJ. Pictured with

Deangelo are his wife Toni and his daughter.

Chapter President Eric Hamilton and PSE&G Senior Manager Frank Lucchesi joined the top scholarship honorees, L-R: Hamilton; Ian Franzoni from the Hun School and the $5,000 Jack Stephan Scholarship recipient; Lucchesi;

Dylan Farina from North Hunterdon HS and the $1,500 Ed Cook Scholarship recipient; and Jayson Emery from Florence HS and the $2,500

Ron Rick Sr. Scholarship recipient. Franzoni will be recognized on the NFF Team of Distinction and play football at Brown in the fall.

Delaware Valley Chapter Holds 58th Annual George Wah Scholar-Athlete Banquet In Princeton, NJChapter Has Provided Nearly $1 Million in Scholarships to Date.

Marcus Freeman, defensive coordinator from the University of Cincinnati, was the

evening’s guest speaker.

Greater Cincinnati Chapter Hosts 53rd Annual “That’s My Boy” Awards Banquet

Seventeen standouts from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky collected $17,000 in scholarships at this much anticipated event.

The two proud winners of the “That’s My Boy” award show off their trophy with their head coaches.

Alex DeLong from Badin High School received the Southwest Ohio Award and Michael Mayer of

Covington High School received the Northern Kentucky Award. L-R: Badin head coach Nick Yordy; Alex DeLong; Michael Mayer; Covington head coach Eddie Eviston. Prior to becoming a high school coach,

Eviston earned a 2001 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Award as a three-year starting

quarterback at Georgetown College (Ky.)

Vince Suriano received the chapter’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Suriano has spent a lifetime

coaching football, including 23 years as a head coach. He was inducted into the Ohio High

School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2013.
