LightingDuring my photo shoot different types of lighting will be used to create certain effects and moods. One type of lighting that I will definitely use is high key lighting for the front cover smaller images. This is so the models faces can be clearly seen. Other types of lighting that I may use are:•Backlighting•Low key lighting•Strobe lighting•Natural lighting•Flood lighting

Poses/Positioning

Page 4: Mise en scene

The poses and postures on the previous slide helped me to decide what sort of poses I want to use for my music magazine. The broad range of poses give out different messages so it is important that I choose a suitable poses that gives off a positive image in order to suit with my magazine. As the band featured in my magazine is a girl group the poses and postures I mainly researched was female and male bands.

Costume

Page 6: Mise en scene

The images on the previous slide are just some costume ideas on what I want the models to wear in the photo. As the band featuring in my music magazine is a female girl band I have decided that I want to use modern high street clothing to represent their style and personality therefore I want them to be dressed casually yet fashionable in high street trends however in quite neutral based colours to show that they are relaxed with who they are.

Location

Page 8: Mise en scene

The previous slide shows a few ideas of possible locations of where I could carry out my photo shoot for my music magazine. There are a variety of different locations of where I could do my photo shoot however each location portrays different characteristics therefore I want to be able to pick a suitable location which fits in well with my music genre and the girl band.
