A plane mirror is a mirror that is flat and smooth and

smaller.

Lens – an optical tool that is transparent and refracts light as it passes through it.
A convex lens is a lens that
curves outwards and refracts the
light inward to bring the focal point forward.
Convex lenses can be used to fix far-sightedness by bringing
the focal point forward onto the retina.
A concave lens is a lens that curves inwards and refracts the
light outward to push the focal point
back.
Concave lenses can be used to fix near-sightedness by pushing
the focal point back onto the retina.
