I have a BA in English and a minor in Mass Communications from West Georgia College. I also have the additional course work for teaching certification from the same educational institution.

Future GoalsI have several professional goals that I would like to attain in the future. I hope to complete my Masters degree the end of this summer. If nothing unforeseen happens, then this goal should be easily attained.
I also plan on working on a sixth year program; however, I am not sure in what direction I want to go. I am considering counseling though at this point the counselors do very little counseling and more testing and scheduling than anything. I am also considering library science. I like helping students find the correct information that they are looking for.
I am also interested in working with the career tech students. I have attended several workshops and staff development courses on this subject. I enjoy working with these students to ensure that they have a good background knowledge to enter technical school or the work force.
