1.0 Welcoming speech

1.1 The meeting started at 8:00a.m and was chaired by the society

president, David Lee Zhi Hang.

2.0 Passing Of Minutes Of Previous Meeting

2.1 The meeting was called to order by the chairperson and the minutes of

the previous meeting was read by the secretary, Ng Shik Khuan.

2.1.1 Suggestion for activities for Merdeka Day Celebration.

2.1.2 Design a new T-shirt for the society.

2.1.3 Treasurer passes the report of budget.

3.0 Matters arising from the previous meeting

3.1 T-shirt design open for all members.3.2 The venue of Melaka Days Celebration.

3.2.1 Seri Tanjung

3.2.2 Gym

3.3 The second place was chosen.

4.0 Matters Arinsing in this meeting.

4.1 Tresurer report.

4.1.1 Account : RM6450.85

4.1.2 Last income : RM 650.00

4.1.3 Last paid out : RM 500.00

4.1.4 Budget for decoration : RM 300.00

4.2 T-shirt Design

4.2.1 The t-shirt was confirmed as the official club t-shirt.

4.2.2 The price of t-shirt was set as RM 25 per each.

5.0 Activities for the Merdeka Day Celebration

5.1 There are all together 5 suggestion activities for Merdeka Day

Celebration which is shows as following:

5.1.1 Loi Pui San suggested the choir to be carried out on Merdeka

Days Celebration. Two groups from K and J group will present the

choir. The purpose of this choir is to develop patriotic spirit among all

the people. This activity was support by the entire member.

5.1.2 Chan Wai yin suggested the choral speaking to be carried out

on Merdeka Days Celebration. He said that each class will have one

team to take part in this competition. The purpose of this choral

speaking is to upgrade the speaking skill of student. This activity was

not support by some of the member.

5.1.3 Chew Wee Sien suggested the fashion show to be carried out

on Merdeka Days Celebration. It is a Malaysia traditional outfit. The

purpose of this fashion show is to introduce the culture, the

background and facilities from different state. This activity was

support by the entire member.

5.1.4 Low chia Yi suggested the banner competition to be carried out

on Merdeka Days Celebration. The purpose of this banner

competition is to improve the cooperation and contribute creative

thinking among the student. The title of this competition will base on

theme One Malaysia. This activity was support by the entire member.

5.1.5 Lee Shao Wai suggested the patriotic quiz to be carried out on

Merdeka Days Celebration. The purpose of this choir is to

develop patriotic spirit among all the people. This activity was

support by the entire member.

5.2 Some comments were asked by the Ting Ming Yu about the choir

show.

5.2.1 Do they train before?

5.2.2 How long do they have time to practice the choir?

5.2.3 Will the show is a good performance?

5.3 Loi Pui San answered the entire question. She said that all the

student take part in the choir show has train before and they still have

one month to practice. She confirms that it will be a good performance.

6.0 Appointnment of committee members for the Merdeka Day

Celebration

6.1 The forth meeting will carry out on 13/8/2010 at 8:00a.m. The venue

is Mini Theatre.

7.0 Others business

7.1 The theme of the Merdeka Day Celebration is One Malysia.

7.2 Merdeka Day Celebration will held on 30/8/2010, start at 8:00a.m till

12:00p.m

7.3 The venue for the Merdeka Day Celebration is Dewan Seri Melati.

8.0 Closing

8.1 The chairperson thanked to all committee for the cooperation.
