IMINUTES OF THE MEETING OF STATE ADVISORY GROUP OF ANDHRAPRADESH HELD ON 08/05/2014 IN THE OFFICE OF THE STATEPRINCIPAL CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS AT HYDERABAD.

The State Advisory Group (SAG) Meeting of Andhra Pradesh was held on

08/05/2014 in the office of the State Principal Chief Conservator of Forests at

Hyderabad. The following officers were present during the meeting:-

The State Advisory Group examined the following proposals and their

recommendations are as under:

(1) Diversion of 38 ha. of forest land in Tadicherla RF. of Karimnagar (East)Division, Karimnagar District, for captive mining to meet the Coal requirementto Kakatiya Thermal Power Project (KTPP), in favour of SuperintendingEngineer, Civil Circle, Stage II, KTPP, APGENCO.

1. The proposal is for captive mining to meet the Coal requirement to

Kakatiya Thermal Power Project (KTPP) which involves diversion 38 ha.

of forest land in Tadicherla RF. of Karimnagar (East) Division,

Karimnagar District.

2. Density of vegetation is reported as 0.3.

3. The proposed forest area does not form part of any National ParklWildlife

SanctuarylTiger Reserve/Elephant corridor etc.

4. No rare/endangered/unique species of flora and fauna are stated to be

found in the area.

5. There are no Protected' Archaeological/Heritage sites/Defence

Establishments or any other important Monuments located in the area.

6. Compensatory Afforestation (CA) is proposed over 38 ha. of Non Forest

land in Sy.No.603 at Parupally (V), Mutharam (M), Karimnagar District,

AP.

7. No violation of the provisions of F© Act, 1980 is reported.

SAG discussed the proposal and decided to take up joint inspection of the

site by Addl. PCCF (Central), RO., Chennai and Addl. PCCF/Nodal Officer (FCA),

AP.

1. The proposal is for DORLI OCP -II Ph-II Project in favour of SCCL which

involves diversion of 26.9 ha. of forest land in Tiryani RF. of Bellampalli

Division.

(2) Diversion of 26'.9 ha. of forest land in Tiryani RF. of Bellampalli Division forDORLI OCP -II Ph-II Project in favour of SCCL

2. Density of vegetation is reported as 0.4.

3. The proposed forest area does not form part of any National ParklWildlife

SanctuarylTiger Reserve/Elephant corridor etc.

4. No rare/endangered/unique species of flora and fauna are stated to be

found in the area.

5. There are no Protected Archaeoloqical/Heritaqe sites/Defence

Establishments or any other important Monuments located in the area.

6. Compensatory Afforestation (CA) is proposed over 26.90 ha. of Non

Forest land in Sy.No.140 & 157 at Polkepad (V), Gopalpet (M),

Mahaboobnagar District, AP.

7. No violation of the provisions of F© Act, 1980 is reported.

SAG discussed the proposal and decided to take up the proposal after joint

inspection of the site by APCCF (Central), R.O., Chennai and APCCF/Nodal Officer

(FCA), A.P.

The meeting concluded with vote of thanks to the Chair and members.
