35th MMPDS Coordination Meeting
Introduction of Attendees
A list of 35th Coordination Meeting attendees, indicating the virtual meetings they attended, has been incorporated into this document.
I want to thank everyone who participated in the 35th MMPDS coordination meetings held virtually between March 23 and April 9. The COVID-19 virus continues to be a great challenge that will impact the aerospace industry for some time to come. The Battelle team did an excellent job of reorganizing at the last minute and coordinating the WebEx sessions to keep the program moving forward.
As discussed during the Orientation and General Coordinating Committee sessions, the MMPDS Bylaws define the GCC as being “composed of individuals physically attending an MMPDS GCC meeting regardless of the GSG or ISG membership status.” Battelle recommended, and the consensus of the GSG and ISG accepted, that the GCC consider items agreed rather than approved.
At the Fall meeting, there will be a Consent Agenda Item that will formally approve the eight items that were Agreed and Closed or Agreed w/Changes and Closed. You may use these final minutes as temporary support for your certification efforts with minimal risk. If you have questions or comments on those items, please contact Battelle so that necessary Agenda Items can be prepared for the Fall.
As of this writing, Battelle and the FAA expect that the 36th Meeting will take place in Denver, CO the week of September 21, 2020. Thanks again for attending the 35th MMPDS Coordination meetings. Your commitment, dedication, and donation of your valuable time to maintain MMPDS is most appreciated. I look forward to seeing everyone in Denver.
Best Regards,Chairman, Mark James
