MINUTES OF 6th DISTRICT CONFERENCE, SNATTA RAJKOT

The 6th District Conference of SNATTA Rajkot branch was completed with lots of joy and

enthusiasm. It was held on 14.12.2014 at Hotel Regenta Central, Rajkot.

The open session started at 11:15 am Hrs. The meeting was presided by Shri Subhash Rajpara,

District President-SNATTA Rajkot. On the stage there were top level management authorities

like Shri S K Verma, GMTD Rajkot, the chief guest of the function, Shri K V Padodara,

DGM(Admin), Shri P G Gadhia, DGM(Rural), other eminent leaders of Unions and Associations

of BSNL like Shri P K Thakkar, DS-BSNLEU, Shri C N Javia, Ex. DS-NFTE, Shri K B Singh, ADS-

NFTE, Shri K R Anarkat, DS-SNEA, Shri M K Raval, DP-SNEA, Shri R A Vyas, DS-AIBSNLEA, Shri S

R Jesadiya, DP-AIBSNLEA, Shri S R Solanki, Ex CS-SNATTA Gujarat, Shri M G Vaghela, Ex CP-

SNATTA Gujarat etc.

Shri Subhash Rajpara, District President, had welcome all the guests and delegates present

with his energizing welcome speech and had declared the conference open on the theme of

“Role of DR-TTAs in makeover/ overhauling image of BSNL”. After that programme was

inaugurated with lamp lighting by various guests.

Then Shri C N Javia, Ex.DS NFTE addressed the house on the subject and emphasized on

importance of DR-TTA in contemporary situation. After that Shri P K Thakkar, DS-BSNLEU also

addressed the house and indicated the proper utilisation of talent present in DR-TTAs. Then

Shri M K Raval, DP-SNEA spoke on the subject and congratulated the TTAs for their valuable

services towards BSNL in the recent time. He also highlighted that in depth technical

knowledge of young employees is very much important in uplifting BSNL. Shri R A Vyas, DS-

AIBSNLEA described TTAs as not only “Role” but “a complete play” instead in BSNL and given

motivational speech for better working environment. He also told that TTAs should be directly

promoted to JTO cadre after completion of five years of service without conducting LDCE

even.

Later on Shri Vismay Oza, District Secretary-SNATTA, who is also currently in-charge of Circle

President Gujarat, delivered his elaborated speech on the subject and focused on proper

utilisation of DR-TTAs in makeover of BSNL. He also described about the restructuring that is

going on in BSNL and how DR-TTA can help BSNL to transform its image in customers’ mind.

One more point was raised regarding nominating DR-TTAs for training to the new technology

courses in various training centres all over India like BRBRAITT Jabalpur and ALTTC Ghaziabad

as per individuals’ willingness so as to flourish the knowledge and in turn how it is beneficial

to the organisation. He focused on optimum utilisation of Dr-TTA having high competency to

improve the services of the organisation. Thereafter Shri S R Solanki, Ex CS-SNATTA Gujarat,

addressed the house further.

Finally GMTD Rajkot, the chief guest, Shri S K Verma addressed all the young and dynamic

employees with his energetic speech. He liked the topic very much and congratulated the

organisers for selecting such an apt topic. GM Rajkot has categorically mentioned the need of

solving HR issues those are prevailing in BSNL for better future promotional prospects. He

described the emerging role of new technologies in BSNL and how highly competent DR-TTAs

can be helpful in implementing the same. He also agreed on the topic of new technologies

training should be given to DR-TTAs where it is beneficial to the organisation and drawn

attention of DGM (A) to look into the matter. He also congratulated SNATTA for successful

conducting of the district conference.

Moreover SNATTA has felicitated its members like Sh Paresh Bhalodiya (ALL India BSNL Cricket

Tournament), Sh Chirag Gadara (Creation of self-care NIB portal), Sh Shivram Chudasama (ALL

India Tennis Tournament) & Sh Vismay Oza (Vishisht Sanchar Seva Padak) who have

outperformed in various fields in the last year.

At last, Ms Kaushal Vora has given vote of thanks speech. She thanked all the dignitaries and

participants for coming and accepting invitation. She also thanked current office bearers for

making such nice arrangements.

After lunch the closed session started specifically to convey the current issues of TTAs at local

level as well as corporate levels. Shri Vismay Oza, District Secretary, has elaborated all the

issues very categorically and cleared the elements of doubts of the members regarding any

topics.

Hope the newly elected CHQ body which was formed in the closed session can took SNATTA
