2. The chair after welcoming the participants began the proceedings and ended the meeting with the following decisions:

3. a. Revival of Indigenous Culture Heritage (RICH) program, successfully undertaken in 2010-11 by TCKP as a pilot to be restarted, institutionalized and made sustainable in order to extend purposeful activities at grassroots level all over KP - existing resources would be utilized for the purpose.
This entails financing small level cultural activities at the U/C – Tehsil level through local credible NGOs / Civil society organizations and other implementing partners.
b. Revival of district wise-Traditional Games KP, pilot undertaken by TCKP in 2011 on similar lines.

The Website Portal, TCKP Newsletter Frontier Facets – reconstitution of fresh Editorial Board and Team and meeting Creative Wing’s office equipment requirements, printing of Brochures have to be carried out in more than one language for international tourists visiting the Buddhist sites.TIC will give its demand for publications months in advance to the Distribution & Stock/Admin office so they maintain a reasonable supply. All publications and printing will be undertaken by Creative Wing.

9. The department will be holding scheduled quality public activities of diverse nature regularly in Nishtar Hall, for families particularly those involving youth, women and children. The Nishtar Hall event schedule will include cultural and recreational activities such as tourism promotions, exhibitions, stage activities, performing and visual arts, in recognition of local icons, personalities and legends, painters, artists and literary luminaries etc.Appointment of a dedicated Event Manager or Event Management Firm to ensure timely schedule and standard

10. A committed and dynamic Project Director for Gor Khatri has to be identified to carry on the multifarious activities outlined in the Gor Khatri PC1 and it has to be ensured that project prerequisites, such as constitution of Board of Directors etc, making it an autonomous, transparent and sustainable body etc. are met. Existing staff to be reviewed, ensuring merit prevails. It must be ensured that the Gor Khatri project should meet all the project goals in that spirit in which it was originally conceived.

11. Concept Note on a well-equipped quality Audio Video Studio – the first of its kind in KP - has to be developed. Studio has to be of international standard to cater to the diverse needs of local film makers, singers, producers, mass media, and other creative individuals who lack the resources to gain access to similar facilities in Karachi and Dubai etc.

12. A provincial Tourism Authority has to be created in order to bring harmony among the devolved components of PAITHOM, TSW, MJRL, PTDC and TCKP. A concept note depicting organizational structure & functions be moved for the purpose.

15. The Posts already advertised under Tourist Services Wing (TSW) have to be reviewed, using a credible and appropriate testing methodology in terms of Education, qualification and eligibility criteria, age limit to be re-advertised to complete the whole process by the end of September

As 90percent of Sikh sites of religious, historic and military nature are in KP, every year thousands of Sikh pilgrims from all over the world visit Pakistan, who are potential tourists and could visit several sites of interest in KP stretching from Hazara to Jamrud and all the way down to Dera Ismail Khan including, Forts, Gurdwaras, private Residences, famous Battlesites and Tombs
