S.T.A.R. Camp (Students, Technology, And Robots) is an annual summer camp hosted by St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC) for students in 6-8th grade who work in teams to build, program, engineer, and operate a VEX robot.

Nitro-X 2018 will be held June 11-15 at SCTCC. Throughout the week-long day camp, students rotate through the transportation technology programs at SCTCC to explore and experience electronics, engines, suspension, paint, team work, and friendly competition. Students learn skills to help build, paint, test, and drive their 4x4 R/C cars.

During the week-long camp students will work in pairs to build and modify a 4x4 Remote Controlled (RC) vehicle. Youth will learn about electronics, engines, suspension, paint, and diagnostics and be introduced to the Auto Technician, Collision Repair, and Medium Heavy Truck programs. Camp culminates with a 4x4 RC race competition.
