Angela’s Place• The pantry consists of
household supplies and personal toiletry items like laundry detergent, toilet paper, deodorant and dish soap.
• Churches, civic groups and individuals donate pantry items to the Ministry; we buy additional items as needed to round out the donations
• We distribute pantry bags at the monthly Café to 60 households

The Café• The Café is the cornerstone of the
Ministry, and is held on the third Saturday of the month for the HIV community and their guests
• The Café includes a dinner, entertainment, prizes, educational opportunities, Angela’s Place pantry and food bags, free tables with gently used clothes and household goods, and a children’s program
• The event is an opportunity for the HIV community to network and relax in an accepting environment

Food Pantry• The food pantry consists of food
donated by churches and individuals, as well as food purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank
• We distribute food bags at the monthly Café, and consist of canned/boxed, fresh and frozen items equivalent to at least five days of meals
• At Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, we give boxes filled with everything a family would need for their holiday meal

Child & Family Program
• a monthly play support group at the Cafe
• weekly tutoring sessions for school-aged children and periodic educational programs and activities
• large group, small group and individual-child social/recreational outings, several per month during the school year

Child & Family (cont’d)• A summer program of tutoring,
recreation, outings, nutritious meals, and one-on-one attention at Casa Madre, as well as enrollment in a variety of outside summer camp programs
• Advocacy, intervention and assistance in situations concerning housing, education, social services, material needs and physical health and well-being, as the children’s needs arise

Comprehensive Care CenterCurrent services include• Adult & pediatric HIV health
care for 250 patients• HIV counseling & testing for
walk-ins or by appointment• Mental Health, case
management, and patient education programs
• Preventive health care for affected family members
• All services provided without regard for ability to pay
