  • Minimum wages payable to Contract workmen: a) The contractor shall quote his rates to cover up all his expenses, incidental expenses, Administration service cost, and other transportation and travel expenditures for 2 years period of contract. Purchase order will be placed initially for a period of one year and same will be extended for a further period of one year only in case of satisfactory performance in the first year. Contractor cannot claim for the contract extension unless certificate of satisfactory completion and compliance of all statutory norms and condition are met, adhered and fulfilled. The wage payable to contract labour at Mundra/Santalpur are as under:

    Un-skilled 3883 1222.7567 5105.7567 The statutory provision which are shown at column-3 are computed are computed as follows: EPF (including admn charge, EDLI and admn on EDLI)-13.61%, ESIC-4.75%, Annual Leave wages - 4.8% and Bonus -8.33%. The total percentage of present Statutory Compliance is 31.49%. Even though the statutory compliance works out to be 31.49%, Contractor will be reimbursed only the actual out go due to the variation in the applicable statutory provisions if any at the time of contract. In case ESIC is not applicable, contractor shall take Group Insurance cover as detailed in the Clause-22 and HPCL will reimburse either cost of insurance or ESIC @f 4.75% which ever is lower. Statutory provisions like Bonus (@8.33%) and Annual leave wages (4.8%) will be reimbursed only on actual payment by contractor based on the submission of proof for the same.

  • The contractor shall also be liable to pay any revision in the minimum wages as notified by the Govt. authorities/corporation from time to time in addition to the above wages during the period of contract. HPCL will reimburse the differential amount paid to the workmen due to the revision in the minimum wages. HPCL will reimburse only the differential amount resulting due to the revision in the minimum wages based on proof of payment to the workmen and no extra payment will paid to the contractor. The contractor shall also ensure disbursement of wages to their workmen by cheque. The contractor shall also comply with various other labour laws provision such as PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity etc. The contractor must have their own ESIC & EPF code, which is mandatory.
