in 2004 – in my first catalogue – i promotedthe renaissance of the surface-mounted lumi-naire. now, five years on, i would like tocontinue on this path by introducing›support strips‹ and creating new modes ofexpression of light in the room.

minimal compact kann durch seine zwei gelenke in jede beliebi-ge position gedreht werden. Die oberfläche besteht aus mattgeschliffenem und eloxiertem aluminium.

einbauleuchten für boden und wandder boden: keine ungewöhnliche position für eine leuchte. inspi-riert durch die ursprünglichste form der künstlichen beleuchtung– das lagerfeuer – ist diese leuchte ein instrument für das dra-matische spiel mit licht und schatten.

die beiden leuchten der uplight-serie erlaubt klassische boden-einbaulösungen für innen und außen. mit ihrem stabilen gehäuseaus aluminiumdruckguss sind sie begehbar und unempfindlichgegen witterungseinflüsse.

einbauleuchten für wand und decke die strips einbauleuchtenserie reduziert die lichtaustrittsöffnungzu einem schlitz. als komplett neuartiges lichtinstrument eröff-nen sie in ihrer grafischen klarheit ungeahnte gestaltungsmög-lichkeiten für deckenmuster und wandabwicklungen.

strips ist in drei verschiedenen längen mit einem, zwei oder vierleuchtmitteln erhältlich. die matt gebeizte oder weiss lackiertealuminiumblende wird magnetisch auf dem matt schwarz oderweiss lackierten einbaugehäuse befestigt und kann zum leucht-mittelwechsel einfach abgezogen werden: »let me see you strip-ped«. durch den linearen und doch gerichteten lichtaustritt eröff-net strips neue gestaltungsmöglichkeiten im bereich der einbau-leuchte. das äußerst flache einbaumass von 50 bis 60 mmerschließt neue einsatzfelder.

die neue strips medium erweitert durch die anwendung desschwenkbar gelagerten leuchtmittels qr-cb 51 den einsatzberichder leuchte. das neue support gehäuse erlaubt die verwendungder meisten strips auch in aufbausituationen.

recessed luminaires for walls and ceilingsthe strips range of recessed luminaires reduces the light apertu-re to a strip. the novel light instrument provides graphic clarity,thereby offering unexpected design possibilities for ceiling pat-terns and wall systems.

strips is available in three different versions, with one, two orfour spots. the brushed aluminium or white faceplate is faste-ned magnetically to the black or white housing and can simplybe removed to change the spots: »let me see you stripped«. withits linear opening, this recessed spotlight offers novel designpossibilities. a low installation height of 40 and 50 mm makes itsuitable for use even in confined spaces.

the new strips medium increases the applicability of the luminairewith its swivel-mounted qr-cb 51 lamp. thanks to the new supporthousing, most strips are also suitable for surface mounting.

die vielseitig einsetzbare deckenaufbauleuchte shoebox ist indrei größen lieferbar. der nach innen versetzte diffusor bestehtaus satiniertem opalglas. alle modelle können entweder mitmattierten glühbirnen oder mit energiesparlampen betriebenwerden.

für das linienleuchtmittel linestra bietet basics linestra zwei ver-schiedene lösungen. neben der einsockelfassung für leuchtmit-tellängen von 30 bis 50 cm existiert auch eine doppelfassung fürleuchtmittel bis zu 100 cm länge.
