Where we started ….

• Spring 2011: A Mind Works Pilot project started a busy and exciting period of building strong multi-agency partnerships and a service users case load.

• Winter 2012: The appointment of a full time Mental Health Development Worker based at the Volunteer Centre in Town Hall Street

2013-2015 the next Phase…..• Continuing developing relationships and partnerships

across the whole range of community services, healthcare, social care, community groups, charities, employer organisations.

• Develop further links with GP Surgery's, (Social Prescribing Model) Community Mental Health Teams and IAPT Team (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies)Grimsby, Cleethorpes District MIND and Open Door

• YMCA (Humber) providing Counselling and Mental Health Support services in addition to Mind Works programme being sustained for the foreseeable future.

• Form a Social Enterprise for long term sustainability

‘Mind Works is aimed at people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems and are ready to move forward with their lives into volunteering as a pathway to mainstream employment’.

Outcomes 2013 -2015: evidence based pathway approach, the way forward:

• Pathway 2: Volunteering Placements 51 (30)

• Pathway 3: Gaining Paid Employment 39 (10)

• Pathway 4: Involved in Steering Group 15 (5)

• Pathway 5: Mentoring new Volunteers 37 (10)

• Pathway 6: Involvement on local forums 5 (15)

• Total number of referrals since inception 206+
