The Arresto-Lite is the lightest retractable inertia reel in the range and is both robust and easy to carry.

Consisting of durable plastic casing and an aluminium quarter turn locking karabiner with fall indicator, the Arresto-Lite provides a minimal fall distance, hence making retrieval of the fall victim easier.

Compliance

■ Meets EN 360:2002

■ Under Clause 1.6 of AS/NZS1891.3 1997 "Fall Arrest Devices complying with EN353-1, EN353-2 or EN360 are acceptable for use in Australia and New Zealand"

Testing Criteria

■ Static Strength :15Kn for 3 min

■ Dynamic Performance :100kg mass free fall of 600mm with breaking force of less than 6Kn & arrest distance of less than 2 metres

■ Edge tested to 100kg and approved for use where fall over edge is possible and fall factor 2

Servicing

The BMIC02-130 is not serviceable. If inspection reveals unsafe operation or the unit has been in a fall, the inertia reel should be removed from service.

Product Life

The inertia reel can remain in service provided it passes full inspection criteria.
