Wednesdays Praise Team Practice @ 5:00 pm - The student praise team is looking for more students with musical gifts who are interested in serving God through worship.

EQUIP - (Midweek Discipleship) @ 6:30 pm Come join us every Wednesday night for a time of Bible Study, Worship, and Fellowship. Starting at 6:30 pm the students gather for worship, testimonies from students and Bible study. The youth enjoy a time of recreation in the Family Life Center or outside following EQUIP. Come join us for an interactive worship and relevant Bible Study time, which include dramas, videos, challenges and many more opportunities. We meet in the student center from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. REC TIME 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. each week.

Bro. Jerry Chaddick, Pastor To say I am excited about being the new Pastor of Mims Baptist Church would be a huge understatement. I would

like to express my deepest thanks and gratitude to the Pastor Search Team, Staff, Deacons and entire church family

for the way you opened your hearts and welcomed us when we were with you in view of a call. I can sincerely say

that I am making this move with a strong sense of God’s clear calling in my heart! The entire Chaddick family can

confidently say the Lord has moved us to Mims.

As we get started, I want to challenge us throughout the month of August, to roll up our sleeves and go to work.

Look up and ask the Lord to place upon your heart a burden for the lost and un-churched. Pray for people to come to

know the Lord and for the Lord to use YOU to reach them! Look out and make a list of all you know who are un-

churched. Write down each name and be specific and deliberate in asking the Lord to help you reach them. Look in

and pray for the Lord to remove anything that would be a hindrance to Him reaching them for His Kingdom. The

Lord wants to reach people and He wants to use You to reach them! I want to challenge all of us to take advantage of

every opportunity we are given to invite people to come and worship with us.

I am praying for you and I am excited about all the Lord is going to do in and through each one of us. I covet your

prayers for me and my family during these days of transition. I cannot wait to see each one of you every service as

we gather together to lift high the Name of our wonderful Lord. Pray Pray Pray and Invite Invite Invite!

Personal Note From Bro. Denny Autrey Dear Mims Church Family, Staff, Support-staff, Deacons, Yokefellows and Leadership,

Words are inadequate in trying to express the joy that Angela and I have received in serving you during this interim period. We

were grateful to Bro. Gene for allowing us to come alongside him during the final days of his marvelous 31 year ministry here

at Mims. Bro. Gene’s heart for God, His Word and His people is reflected in the loving spirit and attitude that is on display

every week as the saints of God come together for worship. I enjoy preaching here because you dear folks love the preaching of

the Scriptures. Also without question, the enhancement of the Mims Choir and Orchestra that Bro. Kevin has developed

through the years cannot be overlooked as a crucial element that makes Mims BC what it is today. Angela and I have been truly

blessed to be part of the legacy that is being passed along.

Thanks also for your gracious generosity in providing such a wonderful reception for us on the evening of July 15. We were

overwhelmed by the many cards and tangible expressions of your love towards us (even the tuna fish was good)! THANK

YOU !!

We stand with you in the continued process of transition and will be praying for Bro. Jerry and his sweet family as they take the

helm in leading the church forward. When you least expect it, we will be back!
