We encourage you to verify information with the source. What’s New This Week? Grocery and produce box dates and locations for July have been announced! Check the graphics below for more information. Parking enforcement resumed on July 13th The Parking Authority has restarted parking meter enforcement services! The Adult Learning Center is offering GED and English classes! Morning and evening classes are available, classes are free with a $10 fee for materials. Call to sign up for the Fall semester now. Morning and evening classes are available and no documentation is required. For GED classes call 410-261-3517. For English classes call 410-261-0023. Email [email protected] with any questions. The Adult learning center is located at 2101 E. Biddle Street, Baltimore MD 21213. Get more info about the Adult Learning Center here. Baltimore City Public Schools to start 2020-2021 school year online All schools will open virtually. BCPS will revisit the in-person hybrid option later this fall. Please visit https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/reopening for more information about the reopening plan as well as town-halls with district leadership. To check out, sign the waiver, review and complete the transaction and save or print your tickets. When you go to the pool, bring an electronic or printed copy of your tickets with you. Remember that every guest will take a quick health screening and temperature check before going into the pool area. Register online here. We recognize that during this time, community organizations may be in need of volunteer assistance, to support their programs and initiatives. If you would like to inquire about how MIMA might assist through our pool of volunteers, please contact [email protected]. The International Rescue Committee is hiring for the position of Program Manager, Economic Empowerment! The Program Manager for Economic Empowerment (EE) programs is responsible for the strategic guidance, outcome tracking and measurement, management and daily coordination of economic empowerment programs in the Baltimore office. This includes overseeing grant-funded employment programs covering entry level and career development services, financial coaching and loan programs, and new and short-term economic empowerment initiatives. The manager will work with the deputy director, other program leads and the senior management team to develop strategies to effectively identify needs, implement new and existing programs, ensure holistic service delivery, and support proposal development and program design.
