Who We Are

Located in Parkersburg, WV is one of the finest training facilities for Millwrights in the United States. The following short presentation gives an overview of what we offer our members in training. But don’t just take our word for it, come to see it for yourself. Millwright Local 1755 invites you to our training center to explore the training offered to our members. In turn you can know what to expect from contractors that use Millwright Local 1755 members at your facility and what advantage that is to you.

SAFETY FIRST

Also members are required to take an annual 10 panel drug test and are open to pre hire and random drug tests on site.

Safety is taught from day one and continued throughout members training• OSHA 10 Hour Safety• OSHA 30 Hour Safety• Millwright 16 Hour Safety• Confined Space• First Aid/CPR

Our Tank not only allows training for working on tank pumps, agitators and motors but is also used for Confined Space Training

Simulated Lock Out Boxes are on all Alignment Shop Equipment to practice Lock Out/Tag Out

Virtually Complete Steam Turbine allows members hands on experience on all aspects of Steam Turbine Maintenance & Repair, also Rigging Experience from Heavy Lifting to Precision Setting of Equipment

CLASS ROOMS

Members study mechanics, mathematics and theories in the classrooms, then put them to use with the hands on equipment in our shops
