Millie's Cookies was founded by entrepreneurs in 1985

In 1987 Richard O'Sullivan joined the company as managing director and began to expand it outside London for the first time, with openings in Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham.

During the following years outlets were opened in most major train stations and airports in the UK as well as in many shopping centres.

There are now over 102 Millie stores over UK!

The first international store was opened in Paris, France in 2005 which was a huge millstone for Millie’s Cookies

Up until then, they had solely operated in the UK.

After the successful opening of the Paris store they continued with their plans to ‘take over the world’

They have gone on to successfully open a further three more International sites – Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Berlin.

Millie’s Cookies currently has roughly 714 employees within the UK

Millie’s Cookies employees earn around £4.25 per hour whilst making delicioooous cookies!

In 2007 leadership of Millie’s was handed over to Martin Dougan, the current Managing Director. The mission of all the Millie’s team is to create the ‘World’s Greatest Cookie and Treat Store’.
