“....The biggest advance in the milking process in a generation....”

Mouthpiece vented liners will give balanced air flow to reduce the forces on the teat and improve milk-flow for:

HEALTHY MILKING

DRY TEATS through efficient milk removal and no splash back

IMPROVED TEAT CONDITION: reduced teat ringing, reduced teat congestion, reduced hyperkeratosis

IMPROVED HERD HEALTH through reduced SCC and mastitis levels

GENTLER MILKING will give relaxed parlor conditions. Animals are more comfortable and less stressed.

LIGHTER WEIGHT CLUSTERS, which are easier on the cow and the milker. TRIANGULAR LINER TECHNOLOGY to reduce slips and kick-offs

All leading to improved parlor conditions

BALANCED AIR FLOW to give less milk turbulence and improved milk flow

EASIER MILKING to reduce SCC and mastitis levels

IMPROVING MILK QUALITY to increase farmer revenue

GENTLE MASSAGE ON THE TEAT

BETTER GRIP TO THE TEAT

LESS LINER MOVEMENT GIVING GENTLE OPENING AND CLOSING PHASES

LIGHTER WEIGHT CLUSTERS FOR LESS STRESS ON THE TEAT

Triangular liners provide a three way massage for a gentle action on the cow’s teat.

The impact resistant shell has a triangular shaped interior to reduce the total air volume between the shell and the liner. This leads to a more responsive opening and closing of the liner, which optimizes the milk and the rest phases of pulsation.

HOW DOES WORK?

LOWER FORCES ON THE TEAT THROUGHOUT THE MILKING CYCLE will give lower teat congestion and overall better teat condition. NO MILK SPLASH-BACK will reduce any risk of teat cross contamination

Most damage occurs to the teat at low milkflow. The vented liner system reduces the vacuum forces

on the teat throughout the milking cycle.

The system is a unique milking assembly. We introduce the air into the system behind the milk to give a more even vacuum drop through the system.

All milking systems need vacuum to pull the milk away from the teat - but this vacuum can also damage the teat. The mouthpiece vent reduces this effect.

INDEPENDENT TESTING AND FARM TRIALS

PROVEN TO REDUCE SOMATIC CELL COUNT AND MASTITIS

We work with independent testing authorities to establish scientific farm trials so that you can be sure of the results. With these authorities we have established the effects of vacuum and pulsation on output and teat health - and then compared these results to a standard round liner.

The results are clear:

This allows us to optimise your milking machine and improve conditions for you and your animal.

Through these test results we have been able to develop much more detail of the vacuum and pulsation conditions that will improve milk output whilst improving teat health.

Long term test results show significant herd improvements, improving milk quality and lowering of costs.

MCC-Vlaanderen is an independent Milking Control Organisation working in Belgium. They picked 20 well-managed farms and then assessed conditions before and after fitting Impulse Air. Results were recorded over a period of a year. These were the results:

One case of mastitis will cost in the region of £200 in terms of veterinarian bills, lost milk and other costs. Penalties on milk price for above average somatic cell count can take 1p a litre off the value of your milk. For an average farm at 1 million litres p.a. that’s a loss of a £833 per month.

SOMATIC CELL COUNT REDUCTION OVER ALL FARMS

REDUCTION IN CLINICAL MASTITIS IN 12 OF 20 FARMS, WITH THE REMAINING 8 FARMS AT THE SAME LEVEL

REDUCTION IN LIPOLYSE GENERATION ACROSS ALL FARMS (FROM AN ALREADY LOW STARTING POINT)

REDUCTION IN TEAT DAMAGE ON ALL FARMS

REDUCTION IN HYPERKERATOSIS ON ALL FARMS(All results and test protocol are available on our website www.milkrite.com)

MUCH REDUCED INCIDENCE OF TEAT DAMAGE WHEN USING ….AT ALL VACUUM CONDITIONS

Teats were inspected after milking at various vacuum conditions. At all vacuum conditions the

system improves teat condition.

FULL CLUSTER SOLUTIONS - We have developed the most modern cluster to make milking more efficient, healthier for the animal and better for the dairy farmer LINERS - With air inlet, improved slippage control and anti-twist feature which come in two generic size types. The IP10 range is designed for a wider teat range which is a feature of many European herds. The IP20 range is a smaller bore liner specifically designed for the easy milking cows with a high milkflow rate.

SHELLS - Specially designed for Impulse triangular liners

CLAWS - Designed for easy handling and cleaning

WASH SYSTEMS - Designed for robust performance
