WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN SESSION?Please book your newborn session during your pregnancy. A tentative session time will be reserved for you based upon your due date. It is never to early to book a newborn session.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR NEWBORN PHOTOS?During the first 3 weeks of life is ideal.

SHOULD I BUY A SPECIAL OUTFIT FOR THE SESSION?Newborn images are perfect without any clothing. To accessorise,MILK photography has a beautiful collection of props, wraps and hats to use.

CAN I INCLUDE FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE NEWBORN SESSION?Yes, definitely. Newborn sessions can include Mum, Dad & Siblings.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I ALLOW FOR MY SESSION?The average session lasts about 1 to 2 hours depending on the needs of your little one. Plenty of time is allowed for feeding and snuggling.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?Many conversations will take place leading up to your session. You will receive a confirmation email with all the relevant preparation details one week prior to your session.

WHERE ARE FAMILY SESSIONS HELD?An outdoor location, local to Brisbane & surrounds.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD WE WEAR TO THE SESSION?Coordinate but don’t match. Choose a basic colour palette and go from there. It can help to have one “stand out” person in the photos who carries a pattern in their outfit that the rest of the group’s clothing or accessories pulls from, while keeping everyone else’s outfits more simple.

• Avoid anything with logos, graphics, characters, labels, etc. These tend to take away attention from you and your beautiful family and will date.

• You want to be relaxed and comfortable. Try something with texture and simple colour or pattern features that reflects your family’s personality.

• Denim jeans and white shirts are a thing of the past. It’s been done before, and your photos should reflect you and your fun loving family. While trying to stay current and fashionable, do avoid obvious trends that date quickly. Try to stick to trends that will remain timeless.

• No bright white socks and no sneakers. And also be sure to remove watches or jewellery not complementary to the session’s look.
