AUTOMATIC MILK COLLECTION SYSTEM

The Embedded Technology is now in its prime and the wealth of knowledge available is

mind-blowing. Embedded technology plays a major role in integrating the various functions

associated with it. This needs to tie up the various sources of the department in a closed loop

system. This proposal greatly reduces the manpower, saves time and operates efficiently without

human interference. This project puts forth the first step in achieving the desired target. With the

advent in technology, the existing systems are developed to have in built intelligence.

Existing System:

Existing system employed with manual collection. In the village the Milk collection is

done through manual collection which is found to be erroneous result. So we go for proposed

system.

Proposed System:

We propose a smart milk collecting system. In this, the milk collection is done through

automation. There are two users as per the concept 1.Farmer who supplies the milk 2.Consumer

who requires the milk. Once the user entered the “Milk Collecting Centre”, they have to show

the RFID tag to the RFID reader to make him address himself. After entering the room, he has to

pour the milk into the Milk Container which is enhanced with level sensors. After pouring the

milk into the container, he has to Press the “Push Button”. Then the sensor in the container

detects the quantity of the milk contained in the container. The value of the milk is then

registered and equivalent amount will be updated to the user’s database. Then the consumer has

to show their tag and get the required milk. Their database will be updated and pressing the

unload button they can get the required amount of the milk. Also the amount will be deduced

from the amount. Once the data about the milk and the user is registered, the milk is flushed into

it. This is done through activating the valve through 8051 microcontroller. All the peripherals are

interfaced to the 8051 microcontroller.
