Federal Army Soldier

a member of the Union Army during the American Civil War

Federal Army Sergeant

• A noncommissioned rank in the U.S. Army or Marine Corps that is above corporal and below staff sergeant.

Federal Army Lieutenant

• A commissioned rank in the U.S. Navy or Coast Guard that is above lieutenant junior grade and below lieutenant commander.
