Mili Tulku Rinpoche Tenzin Gyaltsen was born in 1963 in France. He demonstrated an interest in spiritual life from early childhood, desiring to spend a contemplative life. Although his original experience of monks were of the European Christian style, he felt an affinity for their lifestyle, eventually discovering Buddhism at the age of twenty.

Mili Tulku met Lama Gangchen Rinpoche in 1983 in Nepal and became his disciple; from then Lama Gangchen Rinpoche always called him ‘second throne’ and ‘Yogiji’.

The reincarnation relationship between Mili Tulku and Lama Gangchen Rinpoche was confirmed by the oracle of Rinpoche's protector.

In 1988 he entered Seramey monastery in south India. Mili Tulku Rinpoche studied at Seramey and at the same time helped the monk's and local people's health by opening a dispensary and giving treatments. He spent his time alternating between India and Switzerland, where he worked in hospitals as a nursing assistant for old and dying people as well as palliative care. This was actually from 1987 until 1992.

He was formally recognised as the reincarnation of Mili Geshe Sherab Sangpo by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in 1990, after being recognised by H.E. Denma Locho Rinpoche and Tri Yongdzin Tulku Rinpoche and various Geshes of Seramey monastery in India as such, although being a reincarnation of a lama related to Lama Gangchen Rinpoche’s previous lives and Tashi Lhunpo monastery in Tibet.

Since then, Mili Tulku, based in France as a sophrologist , travels and gives teachings around the world.

Nel 1988 entrò nel monastero di Sera Me in India meridionale. Durante questo periodo di studio, aprì un dispensario e dava trattamenti per provvedere alla salute dei monaci e della popolazione locale. Nel periodo dal 1987 al 1992, passava il suo tempo tra l’India e la Svizzera, doveva lavorava negli ospedali come assistente alle persone anziane e morenti, e anche nel campo delle cure palliative.

Fu formalmente riconosciuto come reincarnazione di Mili Geshe Sherab Sangpo da Sua Santità il 14 Dalai Lama nel 1990, dopo il riconoscimento da parte di S.E. Denma Locho Rinpoche e Tri Yongdzin Tulku Rinpoche, nonchè vari Gesce del monastero di Sera Me, e la reincarnazione di un lama collegato alle vite precedenti di Lama Gangchen Rinpoche e il monastero di Tashi Lhunpo in Tibet.

Mili Tulku abita in Francia, è sofrologo, viaggia e dà insegnamenti in tutto il mondo.
